Gameloft 10th Anniversary

Bridge Odyssey is only 9.7MB and released now.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong please. If the game is over 20MB and you are not near a wifi, you can click download. It will try and then tell you that it will download when you connect to your computer. Later that night I connect and it finishes the download and I still get the game for free because I started when it said free. True?

 

I hadn't try it. If you visit Wifi spot, and it will continue download, then no problem. If you need to click "BUY" again, please try to post a rating first. If you can post a rating, that's mean you had already got it.

Incorrect. The app store actually blocks the download altogether if it is over the limit. So you must have wifi in order to get a free copy.

The other option is to install iTunes on a computer in front of you and purchase it that way. Then you can re-download the game for free later on.

I'll also point out that really cruddy Wifi will work too. As long as you can get the purchase request through, you can always download it later on.

 

This is probably in the wrong place, but I really wish they would make the tennis ball a different color when playing Championship on grass court. It's very hard to see in Real Tennis '09.

And Bridge Odyssey is now free. Just got the text!

Have they released any games with Gameloft LIVE support? I see a trend here, might help predict what's coming next. I only got Tennis 09 and the bridge game so I'm not sure about the other releases, any Gameloft LIVE games in the anniversary freebies???

 

This is the only game so far that I've actually been interested in prior to the freebie thing.

 

Does any mod around care to change the title?
I'd suggest one of them to change it like Y'day, Viz. the moment the game went free, the title was 'is' the day, the game name & then it was changed in moments of it going back to ze regular price...

Hmm, everytime I try to download this, it gives me the "buy" confirmation screen (which it normally doesn't with free apps). Honestly, I don't want to actually pay for it. Not that it might not be good, it just doesn't really interest me enough for any price other than "free".

Anyone else had this happen?

EDIT: When I search for the app, it's still showing up as 0.99, though when you click on it, it says FREE. I'm... not entirely sure it is (as I never see that "buy" confirmation when downloading free apps). In the Canada store here, so any other Canadians, be careful (unless I'm just being overly paranoid).
