I woke up like 15mins late, txt couldn't wake me at the hour this went off, lol. Oh well, looks like a fun game, maybe if it goes to 99 cents in the future I'll grab it if you all say it's good. And FYI, they are losing money on this deal, not just not gaining it. They are having to do a lot with Twitter, their employees being up at all hours, etc.
You are pretty naive to think that Gameloft employees had to draw straws to see who the unlucky one was that got to stay up all night to send out twitter and change all the worldwide prices. Gameloft is a huge company with offices all over the world! In case you don't believe me, from their corporate page: "Gameloft has worldwide offices in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Montreal, Mexico, Buenos Aires, Bogota, Sau Polo, Santiago Paris, London, Cologne, Milan, Madrid, Lisbon, Copenhagen, Warsaw, Helsinki, Vienna, Bucharest, New Delhi, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney" So no one is staying up all night I can assure you!
Haha then you'll probably hate Costco nowadays! So far I bagged all three games that they released, pretty cool games, actually.. especially Chuck Norris... lols!
Still think this two hour window is bogus. Not sure if this is possible, if they wanted to do it this way, maybe they could have made the time 12-2 p.m. or something reasonable in each timezone. Probably more work on their end, but at least then every timezone would get a chance to get the game without having to wake up in the middle of the night.
Darn it, missed it again, and I thought I could get it since I'm staying home for an AP today. Assuming that each of the ten days they do give free games out, and each one must be different; then maybe you can construct a time of possible times, and limiting the possible times down to the other 18 hrs of the day.
This thing was bogus right from the start. If they had wanted it to be fair, they would have assigned set times. But being famous for being the company that keeps it's customers out of the loop, it comes as no surprise that they would be doing something like this. Was sleeping during pretty much all 3 of the apps, really couldn't be bothered to see any more (though I will keep trying)
Yes, it's absoultely Gameloft's fault that you were sleeping through them GIVING AWAY FREE GAMES. We should hate them for GIVING AWAY FREE GAMES. Boo Gameloft! How dare you attempt to GIVE AWAY FREE GAMES. I wish everyone would just shut up about this and suck it up. You either make the effort to get the games or you don't.
This is ridiculous. It's not really free if it becomes free only when no one is able to download it. Then again, that's obviously their goal.
