Well, I was in the grocery store today, and there was a lady standing behind a display. She had an electric frypan cooking up some sausage and giving away samples to other shoppers to taste. I just stood next to her for a few hours and told everyone (and her) who came over to sample, just how much I hate sausage. In fact I made sure to tell everyone so they all knew that I don't even like the smell of sausage. It just makes me feel sick... and it is so fatty. I can't believe anyone would like eating sausage. She is there on the same day every week. I am sick of people giving away sausage samples. Why don't they give away donuts or swiss chocolate. Or lobster. In fact I think unless they start giving away food I like - I'm not going to shop there anymore (except to complain about those disgusting sausage samples).
Nice, this is a game that I actually wanted and forgot about. And it's at a nice time for those of us here in Asia. Thanks Gameloft!
24mins in, and still "item is being modified, purchase unavailable" in the uk EDIT: finally unlocked at the 30 minute mark
*rolls eyes* you got me...saying I didn't care for the first two games in this are EXACTLY like the ridiculous story you just mentioned. You people are complete morons. Back on topic, I actually think today's game looks promising.
Ridiculous? No, not the story is. Your desperate struggles to defend the complaining people are ridiculous. This story is even better than just to have the ability to insult people continously - like you do. Again, if you take everything personal - like the posting from IPodlady - it is not my fault. I didn't mean you in the first place. But if the cap fits, wear it.
You respond directly to my post, so of course I'm going to take it personally. I don't sit around insulting people constantly, but if someone challenges me I'm going to defend myself. If you don't like that, then don't respond to my posts.
Normally I like a discussion with comprehensible arguments more than just some random insults, even in defense. I also understand the points you've said, but on the contrary: I am understanding Gamelofts ten giveaway days both as a marketing ploy as well as a nice surprise for the gamers to celebrate with them. Todays game, for example, is a really nice platformer. It's not expensive if you look at the other Gameloft games, but I don't care about the price, I care about the game itself and if I can have fun with it. And I may repeat myself, but I think that Gameloft will save the best games for last. This might be the reason why every game is only free for two hours. So, maybe we'll see a big title for free, maybe not. But I appreciate their presents, even if they come in an unusual way. The only thing I am really wondering about are the people, who are complaining on DAY 1 that Gameloft hasn't shot out N.O.V.A. or another big title immediately. Maybe some people are expecting more than Gameloft has intended for them. And maybe that's why these people with high expectations are called "greedy". Just take a look at the exorbitant lists some people compiled. They listed only the big titles and topsellers. I expect nothing from Gameloft - and this way I am happy about the free stuff they're giving me.
I don't expect them to do anything, I'm not even saying they should give us the games for free. What I'm saying is that we should be able to freely say what we think of these games, which seem pretty mediocre to me.
I lucked out today. Woke up early and thought I'd see if there was anything interesting on Appshopper. When I finally got down the list to Castle of Magic, it said it was posted "2 hours ago." I thought I had just missed it by a few minutes. Crap. But I jumped over to the App Store and it was still free. Fascinating story, right? *Yawn* Well, it was a nice way to wake up.
It's 7:27 on the east coast and I definitely was not up at 5am for it. oh well... I would have loved CoM.
I am relocating me and my wife to NYC so I can't spend any more on iTunes right now, even if it is $2.
Same here... iHeard you Vovin, havn't tried the lite yet. But I love platformers here, so 'll get it soon anyways
