why? thats pretty obvious. its "just" another match 3 puzzler, there are tons of thoose games on the appstore all seeking attention. so if you don't get youre money back via selling the actualy app you could try to sell the source to someone. at the end of the day its still not a good idea to make a match3 game.. this segement is just flodded with mediocre titles and fortified with bejewled and puzzle quest & co.. trying to break even with such an game.. well is quite "heroic"
what i think is interesting here - which makes it stand out from other people selling their code; is that the original poster has thought a little bit about cross-platform development.. it could be more interesting for someone purely based on the fact it can be compiled to different platforms more than the match-3. however, without some code samples, it would be a risky thing.. some code can read badly, and be cost more trying to understand than bring any value.
i played the demo... It's really sad...Like, beautifull graphics, great ideas...but nothing put together...this game needs alot of work....a sh*t load of work.
Engine: custom 2D engine completely written on the basis of free libraries and designed for mac, win, iOS platforms. iOS and mac compiled with xcode, win - with visual studio. Why selling: absence of further funding. As mobile game still probably but as game for desktop PCs - that here needs to be added still.
buy iphone game sourcecode Hi, Try selling your game and apps sourcecode. We have sold and licensed content on all platfomrs. Our users have made 9000USD from us till now. www.gamecot.com
I'm not agree, our game fotomemory is the first on app store!! there's only it between billions of other apps... but the sells aren't good enough!
You do realize that $9000 for a given user would be rather small, right? Split across all your users it is basically zero. Sometimes stats work for your argument and sometimes they work against it.
I played it on Windows. It's got a decent overall feel to it and most of the graphics are good. Some images, like the telephone, have a white fringe around them and look rough. The actual gameplay is not that great though. The way the objects fall is a big weak point. Still, I expect if you released this separately for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android you could make your money back and then some. It's not going to let you quite your job or anything though.
what has your game todo with with this one? there are a dozen reasons why your game does not sell.. one of them may be since you posted it into the entertainment section.. but there are tons more. as for mr. gamecot it would be great if he would not dig up old threads to advertise his own services with the same copy&paste text.
