Not only you. Happens to most of us . This is not out of the ordinary and the devs should take note of this. You see, when a young gamer launches an app, there's the excitement and anticipation. But only to face head-on with a 10 minute lecture, some of them only texts, of boring tutorials, how do you think will your gamer feel? I know some deep games need proper basic "how tos" before you dive head-on into the action but devs should balance this out and make sure it doesn't kill the experience of the first minutes.
Not even the weekly release time yet in NZ, and we already have two killer games out.. Can't wait to see what else is coming. We already know Lili will be out on Friday as well.
This looks like its gonna be the best week of releases ever.. Lili Marvel X Capcom Rayman jungle Lunar Silver Star Story Touch Demons Score The room And whatever else comes I assume Infinity blade: Dungeons is close to being released No coincidence I guess trying to release along with the new iPhone and iPod We, could potentially have like 5 or 6 solid gotw contenders here...compared to last weeks nothing pretty much.. Kind of not fair if 3 great quality games don't make a top 3 just cuz of release date ,but that's been the case for the past month(-last week) as far as how my voting has been going...
The Last Express, a remake of the classic PC adventure game by Jordan Mechner, the creator of Prince of Persia, is set to release this Wednesay night.
Wow I been here on toucharcade and I never seen this thread, I spend too much time in the developers section. My game based on castlevania came out for iphone/ipod its called Limon's Epic Quest. Itunes Link: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/limons-epic-quest/id557792356?mt=8
I didn't think I'd ever say this but a game set in the Angry Birds world (although, admittedly, quite different) may be the only purchase I make tonight. I was considering the two runners - Amazing Runner and God of Blades - but am not sold on either yet. Amazing Runner looks great gameplay wise, but sounds like the controls need some tweeking. God of Blade is nice graphically, but looking at the gameplay, I'm not that inspired unless I hear otherwise. And the third game I was considering, Super MAMC, appears to be too IAP heavy for a game with leaderboards. So, the Piggies may win the day!
