Are you sure? In the US, Bit Trip Saga for 3DS has been out for months. I'm aware that the 3DS version comes out next week in Europe, but perhaps it will be out for IOS too?
Oh also EA just sent us an email. Flight Control Rocket releases next week. I have some extra pics, plus the launch trailer and details but I don't know if I can share them or not.
Here's a few more releases for you to add Jack,I'll save you the visit to you know where 12th March: Frantic Flight 13th March: Shinobi Zin 14th March: Hunters 2 15th March: rComplex & Bitter Sam
Sure you don't know where? Anyways,as requested here are the developers for the games 12th March: Frantic Flight-Drakhar Studio 13th March: Shinobi Zin-Pictosoft 14th March: Hunters 2-Rodeo Games 15th March: rComplex-Event Games & Bitter Sam-Moon Active
Take Bit Trip Saga down before you get people excited. It'#s launching in Europe on the 16th for 3DS, not iOS, and even if there was a simultaneous iPhone launch there has been absolutely nothing from the developers about it and it would be a disastrous business move. And I'd say putting Infinity Blade Dungeons as a maybe would be a very likely occurrence as it's definitely going to be out on/before iPad 3 launch.
Yep, saw Kung Fu Rabbit a while ago on the front cover, looks promising... and it finally arrives on schedule... nice! It will be mine
I hope that EA isn't cheap, and that they integrate Game Center with Flight Control Rocket when it's released next week.
Logic. At the Apple event they previewed it as one of the first games to fully utilize the new resolution. Why the heck would it NOT be available on day one? Though rather than coming out on Wednesday, I think it might come out on the 15th. Otherwise barely anyone would be able to use it as intended.
Because they picked the best vehicle to display the capabilities of the device, even though it's weeks or months away from being finished. The purpose of the demonstration is to show off what the iPad can do, not to sell a particular app. i think your logic is flawed. If they had dozens of high-resolution apps already in progress and ready for release, they would probably pick one of those to promote. But if they have zero (and that's the likely number, given Apple's penchant for secrecy and short lead time that they would be willing to give to *any* developer regarding the precise specifications of the new device), then it's not surprising for them to show what they have.
Well I know it's not to sell the game, but that's probably the likely deal for Epic. They show off what the iPad can do, and in return they get the insane publicity that the event gives them. I just think that logically, if their game isn't out on day one, they are going to miss out on sales from all the people who got the new iPad and want to test the resolution. If they release it later, the excitement will cool off and they won't get as many sales. Besides, Epic has been a favorite of Apple for a while. I have no doubt they had ample time to make the game before us peasants even caught wind of the iPad's organs.
But, logically, if the game isn't done, they aren't going to release it no matter how many sales they miss out on as a result. I know a bunch of people who work at Apple, I think the level of secrecy there is *way* different than you imagine. They may have started the project, aiming at new hardware with a general idea of the specifications, a while ago. But detailed knowledge of exactly what is in the device, that they would need to confirm performance on real hardware, they cannot possibly have had that for very long. It is just too closely held. In any case, we'll know within a week which of us is right.
Well yes, I'm not saying they will release an unfinished product. I'm just saying that they would be aiming to have it complete by the release of the iPad. I really doubt that they didn't know the actual specs before we did - especially given all the leaks. I'm absolutely certain they got the information early. If I remember correctly, something a representative from Epic said after the release of IBii made me think they knew the specs in advance. (I think his words were than only like 3 people knew what the hardware was, and they weren't allowed to tell anyone else) All I'm saying is it makes sense for them to have it released when the market for HD iPad apps is non-existent.
Yes, of course they had the specifications before they walked on stage! How else could they prepare a demo? But that would be a matter of weeks, not months. I'm sure they were working on it for months with general information but not specific information. No, you're saying something else, you're saying that it's probably finished and ready to go, while I think it's probably not. It's probably ready to demo, but not to launch. Anyway, let's just wait a week and find out.
