No big secret, just look on the many apple rss feeds , all it takes is a click of a button. Half the fun is taken away .. I like to be suprised what comes out., and on another note , I always like to wait for the touch arcade reviews on a game/app before I hit the buy button.
I love reading this thread and seeing what games are coming out, reminds me of old computer mags where at the back you had a preview of upcoming releases. Plus with iOS you 'sometimes' get a surprise by one of the larger companies with a game just coming out of the blue. I remember the Atari app suddenly appearing (And Midway Arcade), granted i was a bit too excited for the atari app and it wasnt as good as i thought it was. But the Midway Arcade app came out of the blue and i'm loving that. So i always hang onto hope that there'll be one or two surprises every wednesday. For me last week was the best release of games since December so i cant believe that'll be topped
That just shows games out on that day-wasnt he supposedly talking about seeing them in advance ie night before the release? anyway Kids vs Goblins for me-been waiting an age lol, and lets see what else comes out...
I've messed around with all kinds of their RSS feeds - not only does it not recognize the country, but it doesn't differentiate between the kind of apps that appear. All those things it's meant to be able to do by default.
Didn't forget it - I just leave releases like that 'till last. They always have a point-and-click game, and hardly anyone posts in their threads. I'm actually impressed this week - all the games have been quality releases, even though there aren't that many. Though it takes such a bloody long time when I have to look for releases - posting threads is a breeze when comparing the time investments. Wish someone would privately share some secrets already.
It works , you just need to sign up through a email with apple . Affiliates, Developers and news sites get heads up early. There are even direct feeds when an app gets submitted.
