As I come closer(couple months) to completing my project, the ever so broad topic of marketing comes to mind. One route I have never considered is that of going with a publisher.

With the blockbuster hits from companies like Gameloft and Chillingo, it's hard to ignore. I want to know if anyone has gone down this route and what are the pros and cons of using a publisher.

Also what is the usual money distribution and ownership when working in this fashion? It is to be assumed that all development and design is complete so no further development is needed.

why don't you just contact such publisher and take the talk to them?

i'm pretty sure if you get into a biz relation with them there are nds to be signed about the content of the contract etc.

so i highly doubt you get answeres here.
