the only way I know is to edit it within the minute that you posted it. see, just edited and nothing.
No, the original poster said nothing about TA in his post. Where do you see TA mentioned? January GOTM February GOTM March GOTM (I'm seeing Mission Europa clear as day on the March list)
Anyway it would be a pretty frustrating and crap poll if the most popular game was left out wouldn't it ? The peoples choice so far is Mission Europa. I understand that some people don't get it or enjoy but I don't understand why they hate on it so passionately ? (btw i'm not referring to you here Osujxu, I'm referring to the M.Europa thread and comments there). It's kinda weird. I'd much rather hang in a thread where I have something positive for a game that I'm enjoying. I don't really frequent threads of games I don't appreciate posting hate in there. I'm happy to be called a fanboy because I do feel passionately about the games I love (like a real page turner novel that you want your friends to read) Congrats to the underdog for beating Dead Space to top slot.
Mission Europa without a doubt. I find it somewhat disappointing that the people who would heap a ton of praise on a game like Infinity Blade, which is basically just an incredibly repetitive minigame where you experience all it has to offer in the first few minutes, fail to appreciate a game as all around awesome as ME. Sure it's not as polished, but I'll take a diamond in the rough over a well polished turd any day. TBH, it almost makes me want to just skip looking at the front page from now on, but then I realize it's just one game and I get over it Still I have to wonder if the editors are forced to question their own opinions when the overwhelming majority of their readers seem to disagree with them. And FYI I have never had any interaction with the game's developers. I'm just a fan of awesome stuff
Bug heroes is amazing, and it'll get even more amazing with the update coming. I think it's the best game so far.
not played many of the games mentioned in the OPs list so perhaps im a little too quick to dismiss 2011 as a really dire year for games thus far. gone are the days we saw 5 or 6 top quality titles out each month.
I find it funny how you would find it surprising people were hyping over Infinity Blade. It's the first time console graphics were present on a cellphone. It's the first time that unreal engine or whatever the name is used on a cellphone. And it's also the first time where a player doesn't have to fight characters by mashing buttons. Superb graphics + action-packed gameplay doesn't deserve praise? Take your silly praise for ME elsewhere, it's getting very old, go and send the developer a love letter for all I care. Some people apparently just likes highly repetitive games with absolutely terrible graphics, terrible interface, one interactable NPC with an infinite amount of "kill X of monster Y" quests, sure I got no problem with that, so I don't see what problem you got with people who prefer, should I say, more presentable games.
I still haven't played ME - though I've been getting addicted to Necromancer Rising. From what I understand it is the same game engine. What I can say about the graphics is that - yes I do find them unpolished, but certainly not substandard (especially on the iOS). The gameplay is great - though the graphical UI could use some streamlining, but not much. I am not really up to date on all the news of NR or ME (having only really started following them now) - but I am surprised that a team like Cresent Moon hasn't approached the developer to help polish the game like with Aralon. If ME or NR had the rough spots people seem to be complaining about polished - I am willing to bet the games would expand to a greater demographic.
I wasn't really trying to bash IB and I realize many people like it, but honestly it's got graphics and absolutely nothing else going for it. How can you call ME repetitive, when IB is literally doing the exact same thing over and over again. I mastered the combat mechanics in like 10 seconds. It's just so limited. The story is convoluted garbage, and the customization is weak. The only reason to collect more than just the best items is because you need them to max out XP. And who cares about console graphics, when the game is essentially an interactive video? It's like a choose your own adventure where you just watch the same video play over and over and then have the same fight with the same couple of combos over and over and over again. I may take my praise for ME elsewhere but this is the first time I've posted about it on this site so I don't know how it could be getting old, and I doubt I'm finished, sorry
dude hes just a hater lol jk but royce, he has his own opinions, i have my own opinions. some ppl may hate ME and some ppl could love ME, if some1 doesnt like it, there gonna trash talk it, put it down in some way or there gonna be respectful and just plainly say they didnt like the game. maybe cuz they didnt like shooters, rpgs, or its not polished enough
I voted dead space. The beautiful graphics tight control and level of polish is Uncomparable to the rest of iOS games so far this year
There is more than one NPC giving you quests (Hint: Port Orion). Of course to find that out, one would have to actually play the game. Your arguments do lack substance and reveal your experience with this game.
Nothing else going on? REALLY? Best fighting game i ever seen, where your finger is your movement, can perform a wide range of attacks, defense, counter attacks and dashing, along with a complete castle to explore, very good enemy AI, and so forth. Interactive video? Are you sure your looking at the same game? ME stands for Mission Europa? that game is better than IB? Please explain this...
