Ok well I'm a programmer, and I just completed a little system to render box2D on the iphone. Box2D is a very good physics engine, so I'm looking to make a physics game. So does anyone have any ideas for physics games? Also if there is an artist who wants to help, that would be great too. Anyone interested?
PM'd with easy idea to pursue. Also consider publishing through a larger dev like chillingo, freeverse, or even tech pad (who I see probably made an offer).
an interactive buddy like game with rpg elements taken to the extreme (buying upgrades and stuff) a game where you don't just throw things around, but they actually break and react differently in different circumstances perhaps a physics puzzle game
LOL that's a good idea, I could have like levels and different characters which could do different things to the interaftive buddy!
Maybe a game where your play as a physic, moving boulders and boxes around like a puzzler, or attacking with nearby items like an action game
you should definitely one up interactive buddy, like anduril said able to buy new items and then upgrade them, and have different backgrounds instead of just grey...
Maybe ummm... man! Anduril took what I was about to suggest. jkjk. Make sure you upgrade the items too and let them break or react in a different way then all of the others too
Yeah sounds good, il get working on it right away, anyone got an ideas on the forces in the game? For example if you rocket the dude how does he react?
why not have options for the reactions. 1-cartoon character (very springy and bouncy) 2-human (realistic physics) Also, please include (or try to include) super gore mode where there is fake blood which spews randomly from body parts at somewhat rough contact. Maybe apple won't reject it? (fingers crossed).
