People have been asking how to get higher scores, so here's some tips to start with As most of our players already know, most of the score is gained by destroying obstacles with skills and building huge combos. Remember to upgrade your skills as that increases the effectiveness, lowers the cooldown and increases the score multiplier on that skill. Skills Generally you should try to select the skills to use based on what fits your own playstyle. You can go defensive (Shield, Barrier and avoidance like jump) or aim for more destructive skills. It's a good idea to have atleast one skill that has an aoe explosion (Cannonball, bombs away, shield, shockwave) so you can destroy alot obstacles at once and build up combos easily. Combos Combos are the best way to ramp up your highscore. Remember that picking up cash or pickups refreshes the combo timer, so as long as you keep collecting them your combo wont drop. Try to time your skills so that you can keep your combo up as the amount of score gained by destroying goes up alot. Challenges Try to always finish your challenges so you can get the most of the rewards. This is important for getting upgrades for your skills. You can skip challenge completion time from the challenge tab for faster loot. You can also change challenges and get one with better rewards, so keep an eye on that. Fortune wheel Fortune wheel is available every few hours, check it out every once in a while for extra loots. Tunnels Each tunnel has tons of cash on the ground. Remember to use your skills before going to the tunnel so your cooldowns can run while the cash in the tunnel keeps your combos going. Ships Ships have got a huge obstacle density. Use skills with aoe explosions on the containers and get a huge boost for your scores and combos! Jumptrucks Those green trucks that make you jump, cool right? Well they also destroy whole a lot of obstacles. Be careful not to drop your big combos before you get on one. Minitips * Greed can be useful for keeping up the combos as there's more cash to pick * With a quick swipe, you can hit 2 lanes with shockwave * Shield and Barrier can protect you from dying to steamrollers * Barrier and speedup go well together * Long range skills ( shockwave, bombs away and wrench throw ) can be useful to snipe obstacles from further away * Join a club and complete club chest-challenges for loot!
Roller Crash just had a major update! Combo system was overhauled completely. Now it's way easier to gain huge combos and get big scores! Patch notes: General changes: Score gained by distance removed. Tutorial update. Skill cooldowns reduced massively. Menu/UI improvements and shortcuts. Scaled score values to match the new combo system. Added one FREE basic box that can be claimed daily. MORE cash WITHOUT greed (greed cash spawn chance bonus removed). Tuned the default and combo score values Combo changes: Collecting cash now grants +1 combo. Destroying obstacles grants +5 combo. New combo meter!
