I assumed it was a translation error (or just a mistake). By the end of the 20 years, I definitely had a lot more points to allocate each time I made than I had at the beginning. Thus, it appears my point reserves were growing throughout the game. I even had 4 extra points one time, which I thought was because I'd forgotten to allocate the 2 extra points I'd gotten previously, and then I earned 2 more.
Hm, interesting how games vary. I never had anyone close to that--were you training them constantly to get stats up to 600, or was it possible to hire someone I never discovered? I never got 4x10 score, although I finally got game of the year the 20th year (I wonder if they're more lenient on the final year...at 37 or 38 it wasn't my highest rated game, or maybe they factor in sales...). On the other, I sold over 20 million multiple times, and got 39 million on one of my last games (maybe the game of the year one? maybe that helped it win?). This game is crazy addictive, but it leaves a lot of questions...
The fun levels for this game are quite high. I think they should concentrate on increasing fun even further. Jamie.
I'm in year 10 and I'm not buying any licenses any more, just making game for the PC and it's way better than buying all that expensive licences. The combo Shooter and Robot works very well.
This is an extremely addicting game.Cant stop playing it. I have some questions: Is the office with the persians the last one? Its very hard for me to find any designers.I always find coders hackers but no good designers why? Is there a way to build more powerful consoles than 64 chipset and BD-ROM?
i have the oil baron and i think he doesn't leave his seat to go and sleep. i have steve jobs (stephen jobsen) and when he writes a game proposal (in the beginning of a project) and it's a sequel, everything will be double the amount of points for everything he creates (fun and creativity) plus extra sound and grafics. The same applies for george marlin, the guy naked from the waist up (know idea how he should represent). i also have the masked man and he doesn't do anything special that i could discover, but i think he most do something.
I absolutely love this game... I'm slowly losing my life playing this game. I too would like to understand the game a little better... How can I get a Hardware Engineer to develop a console? Everytime I try to hire some people it's always the same people I already used and fired...
You have to level up one of your existing employees to level 5, then change their job, then do it again, repeatedly.
How do I get new genres and such? I haven't got anymore for years (Now on year 13 and have approximately 3 pages of genres and the other option I can't remember the name of). Hell addictive game though, only regretting the purchase because I have exams I should be studying for!
Lol same I'm going to play it until I get a million dollers then end up quitting...luckily not too much college work atm. New genres can be unlocked by training up employees and hiring different jobs
I shouldn't stop at 1 milion dollar, because it's not very much, and you'll get a lot more when you play it on a smart way.
Well I just got that just in game sales and after you have made a console and gotten game of the year the game ends sort of
updated combos So it seems to me that Amazing! combos will add direction points, but Creative combos get the best reviews and sell the best etc. Here's an updated list of combos: Amazing! RPG + Fantasy Action + Ninja Puzzle + Reversi Puzzle + Checkers Motion + Fitness Simulation + Romance Simulation + Game Co. Adventure + Cartoon Creative Adventure + Ninja Shooter + Lawyer Racing + Monster Racing + Mushroom Audio Novel + Martial Arts Audio Novel + Swimming Can anyone confirm the different between Amazing! and Creative?
You have to train and level up workers to unlock other genres. I also unlocked some by hiring workers as well.
As I assume specific jobs unlock specific genres upon levelling up, does anyone know how to get Fantasy? I've got all these wacky genres like Poncho and Motion, but I still haven't got Fantasy... I really want my own Final Fantasy series. I kinda laughed at the "Game Co. + Simulation = Amazing!", too.
Best thing about the game, it doesn't even take up that much (if not at all any) battery! It's flipping' amazing. I <3 this game.
Any chance someone could put together a list of all the best combinations and their rankings. Also, somehow put together what is the best direction for some. I think part of my problem is the direction.
WHY? being told what to do ruins the experience. experiment. as for myself i'm looking for the bear.. being told how to get him only takes away from the appeal.
