If I remember correctly certain characters can be turned into hackers easier. I could be wrong though, it's been awhile.
Just keep playing, at first it's hard to get into the Hall of Fame but towards the end almost every game you produce will make it in. I'm not sure what determines that, but I think in part it's your publicity.
To be honest, I thought the real fun began after year 30, as then I could really focus to make the perfect game. I always speed the game up as well. Normal speed is too slow for me.
ok just got the game...i know i'm really late to the party. jw what are some of the best game combinations? and also how many new games do you guys play?? O and also what does a contract do for a new game? Edit: aren't bugs like kind of a good thing? because at the end you get to smash all them and get research points... and are there only 3 different type of people-coder,designer, and writer?
I use the combos that came to mind like racing+marathon, puzzle+reversi, rpg+fantasy, motion+golf etc. I dont think contracts do anything for a new game, i use them to build up fast research points or cash in between games. When i can afford budget+ games i usually crank out games all the time, starting a new one right after ive completed one. Bugs certainly aren't very bad in my opinion and i have yet to use the bug spray item because it seems like a waste of research points. There are more types of people, from memory coder, designer, writer, producer, sound engineer, hardware engineer, director and hacker. Could be more
Get the career changer manual from the sales guy, i always buy 3 each time i can. Use them to change the career of the guy you have decided to make a hardware eng. and lvl him up. Then change his career again, lvl up. Rinse repeat until hardware engineer becomes an option when you change him. Once he is lvl 1 hardware engineer you can make your own console
np Hehe yea, thats the hard part Once you get hooked trying to make the perfect 10 game. I still haven't made that game yet
Nice game. I'm not typically into management style games, but this one is fun. May not quite up to the hype it got, but still fun and worth $1.
What is the difference between lite version and the $2.99 version and why does the Lite version still cost?
NVM I see they changed the prices back to .99c for the full version and free for the lite version. At .99c it's an instant buy for me now!
Yeah, I've done it but it took a ridiculusly long time, to be fair I think I spent too much time on the game before I gave it up. One of my game studios reached $2.5 Billion in spare cash and I constantly had 999 research points and had made like 10 consoles. Just a tip guys, a really good combination seems to be Snowboard + Racing, sold about 50 million units with one of those.
There is no "best" combination. In fact, one of my best selling games was a "bizarre combination" (Fantasy & Online RPG, I think). Just play around.
