LMAO the game that finally got me the Grand Prize trophy (and highest rated/grossing game) was my experimental Fantasy Puzzler I called "Paradox". My team didn't believe in it at first, either.
what do you mean by unlocking Game John? Are you talking about the robot? Btw I'm also sure that the monkey doesn't come in on 2nd Grand Prize. kaz i had 2 grand prize by year 19 and still didn't have him Now I shortly after I posted the query i finally got the monkey on Year 20, and i got another Grand Prize(total of 3) on Year 19. So it's either: 1. Get 3 Grand Prize 2. Win all Prize in Ceremony twice (I'm didn't pay attention to the first 3 prize since those are so easy to win. 3. Some other requirements that we're not aware of 4. Totally random I checked the Trophies on year 21 and I've won Grand Prize on year 15, 16, 19) but since i get all the other prize every year it only shows 16-20 now, so I can't check year 15) Oh and btw i made FAQ for unlocking all Game Types(there's like 79 of them) over @ gamefaqs http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/610758-game-dev-story/56851983 hope it helps
My theory is that it may help to shorten the walking distance. If you observe one person tends to walk up to another person frequently, place them together may help to increase overall productivity. Not proven but I think it is not much important once you have crew with high stats.
for anyone whose STILL unsure.. this should help http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2010/10/23/round-table-game-dev-story/ this might get bigger than the Bird game
Needpixel artists for a mod Hey guys, I'm lookin for some help editing the sprites for this game. I'm making a Reality conversion: real names, real people, real products. I am focusing on the office computers (-> into various Macs), the famous people (-> identifiable clothing/faces) and on the consoles. The mod will be a zipped folder containing the new sprites and strings, that will be applied via an app like Winterboard, so you don't actually overwrite any files and can switch it on/off. If I lose interest in the game before I finish, I won't finish. So... any (up-and-coming) pixel artists who are fans of the game? Example sprite (apologies if I shouldn't post it here) --
Awesome! Easiest way to get the sprites is from the game's .ipa file in your iTunes Library folder. Let me know if you end up playing with them, we can coordinate a list of todos.
Game Impressions Horrible game, my Simtendogs became a hall of fame, now I've to produce many sequels Anyway, great great idea and the management part is pretty complete. I enjoy a lot the jokes on the names (Callie Fornia was awesome ) and how the devs are bored after a moment when they do all the time the same thing. Creating games and choosing the right device is challenging ^^ I would be happy to see improved graphics (not mobile ones ) and the same for the gameplay.
This is the greatest app in the whole store. I always kept Space Miner at the top of that list, but this has come through and destroyed that. Fantastic game.
For me, I got quite a few games at the beginning only selling 100,000 or so units and getting around 23 points. Then I did am amazing Samurai game, that snuck into the Hall of Fame, sold a million and got a sequel that sold more yet didn't get placed in the Hall of Fame. After that, all my games were at least 500,000 and most got into the hall of fame, and then the ones I made sequels to sold millions and millions of copies. My advice - a sequel starts with points pre-loaded, so for the big 37/38/39/40 scores ALWAYS use a sequel to maximise your chances.
Game Impressions Don't buy this game if your in school. This game will eat up all your time, I hope I don't fail my test on Thursday. So yeah this game rocks, it is absurdly addicting.
Hi, I know some of us had shared our best combos and more but I feel lazy to dive back in the previous pages so I created http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=70905 Pls share your best combos, etc. to us. Thanks
Just finished my first play through. Had my highest selling game at 9,500,000 copies, which was a sequel to a Ninja and Action game. Never won the Game of the Year title, just runner up. Never developed my own console. Going back through this one later!!! Incredible game, can't remember the last time I finished a game and then went back through it, probably Tekken or Street Fighter II and that's not in the same league in comparison to hours... fantastic game.
