I just pulled the trigger on the Mad Catz. If anyone wants one, Amazon has them in stock. Only 3 left after I ordered mine though.
Can anybody say if the Micro CTRLi's clip can fit a 6 Plus? If so, is there room left over for a case? Does the Micro and the normal CTRLi use the same clip? Thanks!
It should fit, but only barely. They use different clips, and the one on the Micro is less stable than the regular version (it's already snapped for one person). Not sure when the colors are coming. Took several months for the Android version
It's a little bit different..i had to see The specific of The Micro Clip, but take in mind that The Normal MAD CATZ it fit my iPhone 6 plus with a silicon Apple case, but not remain that much space..
I'm not certain, but Mad Catz may have the Micro CTRLi on sale on their website, at $39.99. Link: http://store.madcatz.com/platforms/mobile-cell-phone/Mad-Catz-Micro-C-T-R-L-i-Mobile-Gamepad-for-Apple-iPod-iPhone-and-iPad.html
I'm loving my Mad Catz ctrli but seriously, are there ANY first person shooters that actually have working controller support right now? It is unbelievable to me that a huge company like gameloft doesnt have control support for any of their many FPSs.
Dead trigger had controller support but after the last update controllers no longer work but hofully this will be fixed in the near future. Modern combat 5's next update is said to have controller support so keep your eyes open for that and bioshock is awesome with a controller.
BIOSHOCK,play BIOSHOCK With The MAD CATZ it's from another planet..,Gameloft had it's own controller, let's hope they release that users use other controllers, and start to update they're GAMES with MFI controllers support..
I have bioshock, and it's great, I guess I should have clarified I want a multiplayer FPS for my controller
Might have to wait for mc5 to update in that case should be before Christmas im thinking as they are calling it a holiday update
I already have a steelseries controller, and I"m seriously considering the madcatz... anyone have them both, compare them?
I've them both,i've The MOGA ACE POWER,The STEELSERIES STRATUS,THE MOGA REBEL,And The MAD CATZ C.T.R.L.I,The best for me,it's The MAD CATZ,it's a FULL Size controller similar to The Xbox 360,it's solid in material, not Like The MOGA REBEL that it's more cheap in material, then,The MAD CATZ and The MICRO C.T.R.L.I Are The only One that have minor issue with iOS 8,8.1,while MOGA and STEELSERIES have both lot of issue with iOS 8x,The problem(if can be called a problem,of The MAD CATZ it's that i've an iPhone 6 plus, and The arm clip it's 3.17,that hold The iPhone 6 plus with a case, but not future new Apple bigger devices, while The MOGA Clip Arm can fit also future devices..The STEELSERIES for me it's too tiny..
iOS 7 Game Controller Supported Game List/Wishlist + Controllers That's really a great list of iOS 7 Games. I am surely going to have all of them. And I think all the games might be very interesting. Thank you for sharing this information.
Just got the Mad Catz C.T.R.L.i and am enjoying it. The controller feels great except the D-pad is pretty lame. I played some Shadow Blade, Powerpuff Girls: DoT, and Age of Zombies and all worked great. Having issues with Dead Trigger 2. Just can get the game to recognize the controller even though the Mad Catz app shows its working. Any advice?
No probs so far with steel series stratus.Tested with Battle Supremacy,Asphalt 8 and Beach Buggy Racing.
Don't worry it's not the controller...MADFINGER in their infinite wisdom decided not to support MFi controllers with the latest build of Dead Trigger2.. They should fix it soon...
Cool, thanks. The Mad Catz controller really is pretty great. It feels good in my hand. All the buttons feel good, the joysticks are pretty good, but the D-pad I don't really like. So I'd say for platformers you might want to wait for the Stratus. Also, the joysticks a little hard to use for small movements like in minor adjustments in Real Racing. You tend to push it farther than you'd like.
Regarding your last point about it being hard to move the analog stick just a little, is that because the spring tension on the sticks is too light?
I don't have a problem with moving a little with the analog sticks on the ctrl. I sneak around GTA: SA with ease
