Nope,of the 3 GTA,only GTA SAN ANDREAS have controller support, and work well,I hope Rockstar update either GTA 3,VICE CITY adding controller support, they're totally another games play with a controller,so,let's hope, finger cross..
Same here, was excited when you posted it,so checked it out, unfortunately no support yet, hopefully here's hoping they will get round to an update soon.
Mad Catz Micro C.T.R.L.i Has anyone purchased the Micro version of the Mad Catz C.T.R.L.i yet? Interested to see how it compares size-wise to the bigger version and in comfort. Alternately, anyone looking or able to do any sort of comparison between the Micro/Regular C.T.R.L.i and the Moga Rebel? Regardless of iOS issues, kinda interested in the different hardware available. Thanks
Just got the new dead trigger 2 Halloween update and my stratus controller no longer works with it :/ curious if anyone else is having this problem?
CONFIRMED ! Infact the Halloween update does not support any MFi Game Controller! I've tested on Stratus,Rebel & Ace.. All not working. Controller support for DeadTrigger2 is what makes it worth playing. I've contacted Madfinger about this, awaiting reply. Also tweeted em.. Suggest everyone else does the same . We want controller support back please !
Hey guys, Thought you might be interested to know that I have yet to experience ANY disconnect issues on iOS 8 using the Micro CTRLi - the issues seem to be limited to the Rebel and Stratus controllers, at least so far. Has anyone out there experienced any problems with any of the Mad Catz controllers?
I haven't had any issues with the standard ctrli from mad catz. Have been playing GTA SA like crazy. Other than Call of Duty strike team and Bioshock, what are the best FPS games with controller support? I wish gameloft would get their act together and get controller support for nova 3, modern combat and blitz brigade. Thx!
Receive 3 days ago the standard Mad Catz C.T.R.L.I,no issue for now,but I test only on BIOSHOCK,GTA SA,SHADOWGUN.. EDIT: there're also on ITunes/APPLE STORE 3 Apps from MAD CATZ,one it's for all MAD CATZ products, then one it's for MAD CATZ CTRLI,and one for the MICRO CTRLI,in which you can test the controller, and update the firmware of the controller, check it out, just search Mad Catz..
It's old,but remain one of the best TPS on Apple Store..I play on iPhone 5(60 FPS) and on iPhone 6 plus, completed 3 time on both devices all campaign and the espansion, without any crash,it run ultra smooth, don't know on other devices..
No problem to find the MAD CATZ C.T.R.L.I here in italy, but MOGA REBEL..it lack on availability here..I can't find anywhere..and I can't order from MOGA store, cause they don't ship internationally..boring,MOGA Support say to me that across all europe was out at the beginning of October..but nothing, even on amazon/us/ca/uk/..nothing..I need it for beta testing..
I'm trying to decide between the Mad Catz and the Moga Rebel. If anyone has used both, could you give me a recommendation? I've read the review for the Rebel but I don't have anything to compare it to for the Mad Catz because TA hasn't reviewed it. I don't mind paying more for the Rebel if it's a better controller.
I do not understand why we are not getting more games with MFi support. I am not a programmer by any stretch of the imagination, but it sounded to me like Apple (and Unity, Unreal, etc) had it set up to be an easy add. My brain pictures it as a simple mapping tool. Is this not the case?
Which device you have? The MOGA REBEL it's more cheap in my opinion, seems more plastic compare to the MAD CATZ C.T.R.L.I that in my hands feel like have an XBOX 360 controller,it's more solid in material, but use AAA batteries instead of rechargeable batteries of the MOGA,if you have an iPhone 6,you need to take the iPhone not in the middle attached to the clip, but a little bit on one side cause the volume buttons,if you, like me,had an iPhone 6 Plus, there no problem, the clip on MOGA it's part of the controller itself, while in MAD CATZ it's removable..take this in mind..
Thanks for the comparison. I have an iPhone 5. I was leaning toward Mad Catz and I think that's what I'll go with.
Remember, the MOGA Rebel and SteelSeries Stratus have severe problems under iOS 8. Presumably, these could be patched by the controller manufactures, or even by Apple. But I certainly wouldn't count on it. The Mad Catz controllers work great on iOS 8, so they're a pretty easy recommendation right now. Future controllers or updates to existing ones could change things, but as of now, the CTRLi pads are the only BT controllers that work right.
