Oh man i didn't realise it had icade support! There's my night gone! Oceanhorn looks set to be my game of the year. Looks totally awesome
I'm a little behind on this, is thre not even an expected date for the controllers yet? I was excited when I saw the support coming way back when an am pretty surprised there is no hardware out a couple weeks before the big shopping rush.
For some reason, Apple isn't allowing the OEMs to put them on sale yet. The MOGA AcePower and that Logitech one are pretty much ready to go on sale now, but Apple hasn't given them the green light yet. I'm not sure what Apple is waiting for, but I have a theory. I think Apple is waiting for a greater amount of games from major developers that support controllers, and make a big section for them on the App Store. The controllers should be on sale soon, because OEMs probably manufactured a lot of these and contacted retailers, but just waiting for Apple to approve. Hopefully around Christmas time. P.S. Updated the list with a bunch of games, and added a "programming guide" in the developer's section.
I doubt that. I asked a few devs and all said they want to have the hardware first before they update the support for mfi
It has to be before christmas otherwise that's a lot of lost sales, maybe apple want to wait for the next gen consoles to pass first.
If we don't see the controllers released before Xmas the only thing I can think Apple would be waiting for is a updated Apple TV. Used with Mfi controllers, an Apple TV with a modified Appstore will be a attractive gaming option for those wanting a low cost option. It's probably not the case but if we don't see them soon it will be a little strange.
I hope not, there are so few games that support ios 7 joysticks, that we might be waiting forever if it is true. It is sad, just when icade finally seemed to be becoming mainstream and a player, apple comes in and poof, nothing. No info at all at either the ipad or iphone release, the two biggest events of the year. Well, hope it releases by black friday, or the cause will be pretty doomed for awhile, if they don't push it strong before xmas, then it won't catch on fast, and end up like the icade, poor icade.
Bulkypix just updated a few of its games for controller support: - T.E.C 3001 - Meltdown - Type:Rider Dead Effect from Bulkypix should also be ready for controller support soon. Once controllers do come out, this thread will be a lot more active. I'm planning to have honorable developers who actively support their games with controllers, and maybe even 'game of the week' feature. P.S. we now have 40 games on the list.

Both Polygon and Mashable said that the build quality is cheap. I can pass the build quality if it was $40 or $50, but $100 and only works with iPhones and iPods? I'll wait for something else I guess. Mashable also said that they had to reset it a few times to make it work. For my personal use, I want something that looks like a normal console controller, with bluetooth 4.0 low-energy that works across my iOS and Mac devices, and has acceptable build quality and a good feel in the hands.
Ouch! Bet that is not what Moga hoped for when they sent this out for test! I think the price is making him very critical though, understandably really. There is no need for it to feel cheap in this day and age. Well for me it is still going to transform some of my favourite games making them more playable so I'm not too put off. Just wish gamecase would update their info, what's going on with those guys!!! Talk of iphone mini and iPad versions, and it looked high quality too? We all need an update!!!!!
