It's actually quite fun, though - and hey, it put us over the 300 mark! Phonejoy looks great build-quality-wise, no doubts there, but the current version is only compatible with iCade games. Personally, I'm not betting on the iCade horse any further. When Apple introduced an official solution, iCade lost all appeal to me. When Phonejoy finally gets around to launching their MFi controller, I'll be all over it though

Great find on this one! (And thx for the links ) For those who don't know, the Monster Hunter series is absolutely massive in Japan. These games are system sellers, and are generally regarded as the reasons behind much of the success of the PSP and 3DS. Releasing this game for iOS is a big deal. Especially since it doesn't appear to be particularly reduced from the main games. What's more, bundling MFi controller support is a huge deal for that platform, too. Make no mistake, this game will sell many controllers in Japan. I have to admit, when I saw the screenshots for this game, my eyes were drawn more to the new game controller it revealed! Looks like HORI is about to release an MFi controller of their own - looking forward to seeing more about that...

I have MH3G,MH4 both can play at least a few hundred hours. Wii U MH3G HD even has online play and voice chat, I have played sometimes with friend before. I have buy digital version of MHP2G in PSV too but not yet played. MHP2G for iOS version has target-locked and HD so I will play iOS version first. But I need to buy a japan iTunes store prepaid card first. Now many MH game has western version, but the translation of japanese noun in-game is not good enough. Some Japan game company are still make/port some cut-down quality game to smartphone/tablet. This time Capcom should prove to Japan game company that a 1st class game can release on smartphone/tablet with a initial controller support. Some players said that using iPad 2 still can play MHP2G for iOS in good frame rate, it seems that Capcom optimize the game well.
I don't play MH, but I guess this will generate some more MFi controller sales...I think I want one too...

MFi controller supports iOS7 device. PS3 controller need JB install some app from Cydia to hack the iOS to support it.
You can use a lightning extender cable to ipad with the the iphone cases. Not really true. Need lightning port, not ios 7.
