They didn't even have Gameloft duo gamer joystick support for MC4, so don't have your hopes up. MC3, Nova 3, Wild Blood, and Asphalt 7 all had joystick support, so let's hope they can add ios 7 support for them.
Muffin Knight was updated yesterday with game controller support Just wonder when Apple will announce this !
Happy to announce that we have 20 games on the list now! So whenever these unicorn horn controllers come out, we'll have plenty of content to play with.
You forgot to mention Cromag Rally, Bugdom 2, Ottomatic, Nanosaur 2, No Gravity, and Riptide GP2. That should bump up your list a bit more. Now, where are these mythical controller devices?!?!?!
Just to be sure. Does this "controller support" updated games means that whatever controller i buy every game that have this feature will work? So can i buy all these games from this list now?
If you buy a Made For iPhone controller yes! It doesn't matter what/where you buy it as long as it's MFI certified!
I bet you, there maybe some compatibility issues. And it's a little strange too that there seems to be dual analog stick versions and versions without. So wonder how that will work.
Until a controller is out thre to buy I would still be weary about pad support, everyone is preparing but I doubt any of them have perfected it.
How hard can it really be to get one of these controllers out on the market? It's not a new concept or anything. Honestly, I am SHOCKED none of these are available RIGHT NOW! It's like nobody wants to make money or something. It should be a race to the market, and I'm also surprised there have been no bootleg/knock-offs coming out of China yet. Seriously, what's the damn hold up? The iPad should be the recipient of a TON of console ports now that controller support is built into ios7. This is truly baffling. Just look at the number of icade compatible controllers. It seems like that would be a lot more work, and the companies producing them have had a fraction of the money Logitech or MOGA have, not to mention developers have had to be all 'cloak and dagger' about the support for those devices. Am I missing something?
I'm sure that wont be a problem, its often just basic key mapping. Lots of companies added icade support for their games and that worked fine. I'm sure they can 'perfect' it quite easily They've probably all signed agreements with Apple not to release their products until a certain date. Theres no way one of them would jump ahead and release one first. They'll all come together when Apple decides when, hopefully just before Xmas but who knows. Of course they want to make money but its obvious they've signed an NDA and will only release it when Apple says
Yeah what Connector said. Anyway i put all these games in appshopper and start to buying them so i hope they will work Also it takes too long for controllers to appear. I think that Apple waits for bigger list of games so i hope they will release them soon. BTW i like ClamCase controller (looks like made from great materials) if they make it also for iphone otherwise i go for moga (i like that extra battery and that its portable)
My guess now is after the iPad mini retina release which will also have MIMO which helps with airplay
My guess is once they have enough units of a few different models that can be shelved across their stores they will be released. As it's getting closer to Xmas I wouldn't be surprised if it's a December thing.
For me an MFI Controlller must have the ability to use the controller without having to remove current case from phone. I would hate to have to pry my phone out of case into controller and back again. All these cases look great. I kinda hope that Apple are letting these guys do the leg work and test the waters for them before releasing a really slick looking official Apple controller. I hope that this breaths life back into previously released apps that have been flawed due to poor touch controls but could have been great. Street fighter games The other brothers Nova series To name 3 that popped into my head
The Other Bros has iCade support. Works a treat. I had a case that doubled as a controller. TBH it neither well. My advice is to get a controller that does its job and a case that slides in and out of the controller without fuss.
