Yes, good week for ios 7 joysticks for sure, and this week too will be the huge mfi release of Unpossible. Plays just AWESOME on an ios 7 joystick, here is Unpossible with a SteelSeries mfi game controller.
I don't recommend buying any ios 7 standard joystick, they are junk with no dual analog sticks. They also do not work with alot of games. Buy enhanced ios 7 joysticks with dual analog sticks.
Yeah, I know standard controllers suck, I bought the powershell because it is the only MFi controller available for sale in my country (China). However I believe it is against Apple's guidelines to support only extended controllers, here's the quote from the documentations: "iOS games that support controllers must support the standard control layout. You may not require the use of the extended control layout in an iOS game, although you may support it if it is available. When the game is played using a standard controller, you must provide some other way to access those game actions. For example, because all standard controllers are guaranteed to be formfitting, you might use the motion sensors to provide movement information."
Apple made a huge mistake coming out with two standards. Complain to Apple if alot of games don't support the standard sticks, but they are a waste of money. How are you going to really gracefully make any dual analog stick game control with just a dpad and buttons? It's a joke. Just don't waste any money on the standard layout, only buy enhanced with dual analogs.
Long ago, got the developer of Galaxoid to put in support, the update is now submitted. Also, I am working on about 10 more games to implement ios 7 joystick support too, including the awesome shump AngerForce. I will be trying to prod the developer of Sine Mora to put it in since he did icade after I emailed him. Let's all try to get it too. Get unpossible this week, it is awesome with it. If anyone knows of any new releases or future releases with joystick support, please let us know.
They have them in stock at Apple stores, so if there's one near you I'd recommend trying it there. Also Apple has a 14 day no-questions-asked return policy so you can try it at home and return it if you don't like it. I got one of these from my local Apple store and ended up returning it, because I found it too small so it didn't give me as much benefit over using touch controls as I hoped. Technically though it worked really well, and I like how portable it is, so it's worth trying to see if it works for you. Personally I decided to wait for one of the full size Bluetooth controllers.
I might head to the Apple store... it's close to an hour away though lol. I can get one via Amazon, and it'll be here by tomorrow. I'm just reluctant because I like what I've seen on the Madcatz CTRLi. I'm kinda impatient when I want to buy something lol.
Well Amazon has a good return policy too, with free return shipping, so you could try it that way too. The Madcatz is my top choice now, though I'm still curious about the new Moga also. Hopefully they'll both be released around the same time so I can compare before buying.

I bought a stratus today but couldn't test it yet.Though i'm already looking for more (good)games that support controller.Anyone tested the stratus with unpossible?I guess that could be an awesome experience if the control is as smooth as i expext from an analogstick. What is the best racing experience you had/have?
Tough call... Asphalt 8, 2K Drive, Angry Birds Go, Cro Mag Rally, Sonic Transformed, Riptide G2... they're all worth checking out if you're a racing fan, but they're all flawed. Still, plenty of fun there to be had
I saw this post, yes. But a screenshot doesn't answer the question how good it works Thanks anyway yes, some of them (and more)are ready to test but it's a pitty that none of them give flawless experience.Have a long travel today, time enough to check it out I'm suprised that GT Racing 2 still has no Controller support.Although it seems they f*cked the game up anyway with the last update. And i would LOVE to see Crazy Taxi with MFI support but i guess that one won't get this kind of update anymore. Great webside you have!
