Whoops, fixed - thanks! Agreed, I haven't found any issues on any other controller, PS3 included. Haven't tested PS4, but no reason to assume it's any different...
kmacleod On your site mentioned that Badland has Standard and Extended layout support but I tried with Logitech and unfortunately it doesn't work. Can you or somebody else check it as well? Thanks!
Hi, Just double-checked and it works fine here - Press A to flap, no other buttons needed. Make sure the app is up to date, it only works in the latest version
I've decided to streamline my wish list. After seeing Heroes and Castles just got an update, I was really hoping to see that magical line of text in the What's New section of the update info. Fours4ken Media.............PLEASE!!!!.........PLEASE UPDATE HEROES AND CASTLES FOR MFi controller support. That's the only game I really want to get the update! Please make it happen!!!!
I'd never played that one before, but after downloading it - yeah, this would be AMAZING with a controller
Ha, yeah, I actually just came here to see if that had been posted yet (I really should have earlier when I saw it in the thread... sorry bout that). On the MOGA, it plays fantastic (exactly like RT2, with both the dpad and joystick available for movement, and with the autofire on/off option in both - if you're a shmup fan, they're two CLASSIC titles that you should definitely check out). It's really making me want Blazing Star to get updated with controller support too... GAH, that'd be AWESOME! Anyway... it's great seeing the dev support with the MFi controllers. I really didn't expect to play more than a couple games when I decided that I was going to get one... and now I've got a full 6 page MFi folder on my phone (it's actually the biggest folder I've got [on a 64GB device]). Great stuff! =oD
Believe me, I know the feeling - much of my iPhone is filled up with MFi games I wasn't sure what to expect when I first got the Moga. I ended up being hooked immediately, and then I realized the significance of what this program meant for Apple's future in gaming. Then I built the website
Added analog (left thumb stick) support. Pretty easy, but then Mikey doesn't require anything complicated there. We're still waiting for our crash fix and button adjustment update to make it through review. I'm not happy it has been taking so long. After that we will probably update again soon with some big fixes, button press through cut scenes and tips, and analog stick support. Plus we will hopefully be submitting Mikey Hooks controller support soon, too!
Sounds great guys, looking forward to trying it! Did you replace the DPad controls with left analog, or add left analog as an option? Just making sure, because the Logitech controller doesn't have an analog stick
I added the analog as an option. I only have the MOGA to test on, but I can switch back and forth between the analog and dpad as I play a level. I basically check for "extended gamepad" before using the analog. So hopefully that all works fine with the Logitech.
