Don't think there is any pop-ups about coins unless I'm mistaken? Don't remember seeing any in my many hours of playing, just played ~10 races there without pop-ups. Surprised people think it's an IAP fest, I've always had plentiful coins/stars. Unless people are failing a lot of mission I guess, although one of the difficulties is always free to play. Has anyone got 2K Drive working with Controllers4All? Whenever I connect my DS3 the game crashes.
Exactly the same with me on 2K Drive. Didn't know if it was because of the jailbreak or the fact I was using an iPad2. I'll try on a newer device when my SteelSeries arrives. I also have a friend from Falkirk who assures me that he is the number 1 Jags fan.
I have a moga and am thinking of getting this to migrate my gaming to iPad mini, can't wait to hear your thoughts, anyone seen any user reviews in utube?
I guess as far as things go, it could be a lot worse. But, for example, the whole "why not play a slot machine while you wait for our horribly long load times to pass" is really lame.
I finished the events for the 1st world in world tour, that is 8 events in total though in easy mode only, And I haven't unlock anything yet, esp in Grand Prix, all other race tracks are locked.Trying medium mode now, and it is really difficult. The reason I said it is an iapp fest cause why do you need to pay in order to play it in medium or hard mode? That's 400 coins per level. And when you failed a level why do you need to pay coins to retry it? you failed already, you start over again. then why pay again.
I had the Steel Series Stratus for my iPad Mini Retina before picking up the MOGA Ace Power for my iPhone 5. The iPad is for gaming, but the MOGA feels so good.
Well, sonic does have a freemium structure built in. But at least for the easy levels, it is pretty easy making it through, got no ideas about the hard difficulty levels, but for some reason, driving games always seem to go freemium.
Farm Invasion by handy games was updated for controller support. I was able to test it with the Logitech once, now it crashes every time I start it, controller or no.
You can pay £6.99 to make all races free to enter, which might sound like a lot but considering the base game is only £3 would still make it handily cheaper than the console versions. Or just grind races to get coins. I think it's pretty fair overall, considering it's much higher quality than the majority of iOS racers. Also, whenever I fail a race on hard, I always get almost the same amount of coins back that I paid to race.
Do you always do your testing online? I find lots of crashes on startup are often accessing online errors when offline.
Yup, always. I try to play the games the way a regular person would want to, and only attempt to diagnose bugs or push test cases for curiosity's sake. Anyways, a game called Beyond Fighting 2 was just updated for controller support. It's free, but 750 megs - I'm downloading now, will probably review tomorrow
