Look, a lot of people had PSP. Despite of abscence of dual analogue sticks (one on the left side didn't help so much) we had a great time while playing on it. Standard MFi layout is similar to PSP. I had PSP and it was very fun. As for the price...yeah, it's a bit expensive compare to DS3 or Xbox controller. But taking into account that a lot of accessories for iPhone has price more than $100 with less functionality I didn't expect to see lower price for such controllers (even for ones with built in batteries for charging). One-two year ago I was dreaming to have an official controller for iPhone and I was ready to pay 100 and even more. And now we have some and I'm very happy with it and hope to see a lot of new game titles with game controller support in the future. We can say a lot pros and cons about these controllers. Everyone has its one point of view and can choose what's suits better based on your needs. As for DS3 controller and jailbreaking I think that's is a good that it exist but it harms MFi developers so much. It's bad, no profit - no interest / development. You're talking about the high price, but it's the price in USA. I was lucky to have an opportunity to buy my Logitech while trip in US. But in my home country (Russia) official price for Logitech / Moga is $135 (with release in Feb.14) and unofficial price (imported from US) is $250 (!!!). And you can believe me people will buy it anyway even for that crazy price.
Those are pretty much my thoughts on it, exactly. You're paying a premium, but the thing is, you're often paying a premium with Apple. Apple has a moral aversion towards "racing to the bottom" in hardware. They've never even carried products that are REALLY cheap. The problem here, and one I think everyone can agree with, is that the current crop of controllers aren't doing enough to earn that premium price tag. Cool, enjoy!
Vita is fun too Unfortunately it's gonna make that moga feel even cheaper in comparison - that's a downside
Controller support added for... Final Fury Pro What's new - Game Controller (Made for iPhone) Supported, iOS 7 only - New gadgets can be upgraded and attached to weapons/outfits in Shop - Now you can collecting rewards for accomplished achievements - Progress bar in battle - Bugs fixed
Yup, just did a review of that one actually, though it's apparently supported controllers for some time. Definitely worth grabbing the free version, at least. The freemium stuff is irritating, but the game is still fun.
Probably doesn't take long. If it doesn't work right away, reset it manually with a paperclip to the reset button in the back corner of the controller...
Thank You dude yeah it looks normal so far and charging via PC lol there's no any power cord like PS VITA for this...anyway
No problem - sadly, the occasional restart is necessary sometimes with the Moga. Still a good game controller though! But yeah, none of these controllers come with a power brick. Good news is, they all work with the Apple chargers. If the Vita is anything like my PSP, it won't work with Apple's charger.
BTW i found their manual: http://www.mogaanywhere.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/MOGA-ACE-POWER-Troubleshooting-guide.pdf
I just ordered a Steel Series Stratus. Apple finally lowered their price to 79.95. Pre-purchased it and the girlfriend is picking it up after work.
I picked this one up a while ago and while it is fun, I think I'm looking more for online play than anything. Strike Team just couldn't hold my interest.
Guys sorry to keep asking but my moga has 4 red lights after 2 hours or less charging but it doesn't work yet I even tried to reset it then put my iphone back to play games but nothing worked?! Red lights should be green?
It only really works with the Extended layout controllers - Logitech users be warned... 4 red lights means it's charged, actually - they never turn green, just do various things while red. Which game are you trying? Some games require you specifically enable the moga
The 4 LEDs should blink while charging. What does it show when you press the Battery button? How many LEDs blink?
I can't say how it should work on Moga, but Logitech doesn't require battery to be charged. You can play even with empty battery. Battery itself charge your phone only. I heard from some owners about same problem with Moga and their return it back / change to another one. Maybe it's broken...
