I second this. Deus Ex HR is one of my favorite games and to have a similar experience on my phone would be sweet!
Lol! I did the same thing a while back and was surprised at the result. I tried playing a game with both the controller and touchscreen, but it's a little too awkward. Hope they update it soon!

They must have seen the Dualshock hack The Moga was going for 70 or 80 for a while as well, though it is back to 100 for now.
Grabbed stratus this afternoon. Will try it more extensively later but for now first impression is it may be too small. Been playing on my retina mini so far, tried riptide 2 and the l2 r2 buttons aren't the easiest to get to. At first I was losing badly as I wasn't pushing the accelerator hard enuf, but doing so really contorts my hands unnaturally. Hand fatigue will be a issue. Had the placement been better, the size wouldn't be as much of a issue. Beyond that works well enuf, actually not using the cover as a plate on the back helped with holding it. Obviously the bt part of it shoots it straight to the front of the pack. I have the moga but hardly use it. Hate taking 5s out of case for it.
Yeah, too bad all the attention in this thread is about jailbreaking and ps3 joysticks, would like to hear some impressions about the joystick now that it is out, kinda a shame the release ended up being right when all the jailbreak ps3 stuff happened, cause it will largely reduce sales and publicity, but would be curious if anyone has both a steelseries and a jailbroken ps3, how they compare.
I'm considering grabbing one later today - they're finally available in California. When I do get one, I'll definitely write a review
Cool, are the steelseries at most Apple stores now? Curious too if apple has any demos of joysticks on display.
They didn't have any out at my store, in fact, they weren't even on the shelf and I had to ask for them to get on from the back.
I had preordered the stratus and they sent me $20 refund after lowering the price and the controller is supposed to be shipped next week. Good thing too as they are not available in Canada at Apple stores yet.
^ will you test nba 2k14 if it is a standard or extended layout and if it really works on the ps3 controller?
I been spending some time with the stratus tonight and I think it's a nifty little device. It really is nice using a controller on a tablet device instead of a phone. It is very cramped and small, it takes time to get to a comfortable handle of it and even then my hands did get tired quickly. But that said, it works like a charm, sonic transformed was a blast with it. Waiting for the zero chroma vario edge case to release so I can prop my 5s up as well and after that I think I'll be good, I'll have what I wanted out of this mfi controller stuff. Moga will continue to collect dust I fear.
It's going to work fine, just like every other game that supports MFi controllers. After you install the tweak, your ios device can't tell the difference between the ps3 controller or a real MFi controller. It's not black magic, just another example of Apple being stupid, and then assuming we are all stupid too. The only reason the PS3 controller isn't officially supported is because Apple doesn't WANT you to use it, not because it's not technically capable. iOS devices are capable of SO much more than Apple allows. I think they hate us.........
