Has anyone got ravensword to work with the moga?

I can't get it to control the game at all, same with AVP.

I'm liking the moga, GTA San, and tomb raider getting most play time!!

Hi, Dark,Ravensword,Asphalt8,AVP all need to be updated for MOGA to work, or any "Extended Game controller".

There are 2 gamecontroller profiles that iOs7 framework supports.

1: GamePad, this is the standard Dpad controller, like the Logitech Powershell.
2: Extended GamePad, the one with the Analog pads, triggers, etc...like the MOGA Ace you have.

Game devs need to really support both in their game code, unfortunately they do not in the likes of the 3 games above.
I wish they would update their App to conform with apple standards otherwise it causes confusion to us Gamers.
Which in turn is bad for them on sales, reputation..etc..

As for Asphalt 8 airborn from GameLoft.. I cannot understand why they not updated this yet? Infact I cannot understand why they didn't make it for Extended Gamepads in the first place.?
Racing games need the analog pad for accurate steering! and also the triggers for braking and accelerometer speed control..!
Asphalt 8 airborn, is one of the best iOS driving games, but it could be so much better with the Extended controller.
I've sent many email to GL requesting this, to which I get no response..
I recommend "Riptide GP 2" it is excellent on the MOGA ace, and shows how good racing games with extended controller support can be.
    Thanks.

You know they're fixing it to work with full controller support. I think it just takes a little time cause the game was made from the ground up to work with the gyroscope. It'll be here soon IMO.

I know Asphalt 8 airborn works with the Logitech, just dunno why they not supporting the MOGA yet.. And NO it is not more difficult to support one over the other.
The last release (v1.3 Nov4th) was released knowing this...

Yet it is quiet clear the Extended gamepad would have been a better choice.. I too hope they will update it soon!!!
I got it believing it could be played with the MOGA. But it can't yet ;(

Ok I see the issue, no idea why it's not supported from day 1 like others have said!! Sure they will be updated soon though

I might check out rip tide, thought about buying it a few times!!

  11. Yeah, too bad there are two standards. All games need to support both.

It's too bad Apple didn't make the controller itself. One controller, one standard. Then again, I'd hate to see how much a regular ol' controller costs when you put an Apple symbol on it......

    .
There's a rumour goin around about iPod6th gen being a Game controller..let's wait and see.

  14. Yeah, that is really too bad. That was the first ibdication that apple wasnt that serious about it.

Apple did not even want iOS platform for gaming in the first place! (I read it from a TA article a couple of years back) So this is the answer to call of many others for quite some time. I think this is a good move.

Android has controller support for some time but it is not standardized afaik. BTW, some controllers out there support both iCade and Android so I do not see why it cannot include MFi -- technically speaking. I want to see how Apple reacts when someone sends in a MFi+iCade controller.

Haha, me too....can call it iicade!
Unfortunately for Apple they need to do "something" as sales of game Apps on the AppStore is the number 1 revenue for them.
It would be rude not to.. at the very least try to start a "revolution".

Hi Gov, I saw that one... But not sure how it got onto the App Store, the guy is charging money for it..
Problem is it is a FREE demo that comes with Unity..he just added controller support, which is built into Unity 4.2.2 and recompiled it for Apple devices..can't understand how he is getting away with it??? Unless he is the original author of the unity code..hmmm
