No tnx Vita games always are $35 but iOS games usually are under 8 or 10 USD, I wanted to buy a Vita but only 3 games cost $100 so NO!
Plus iPhone 5s and new iPads are twice a fast as the psp vita. That A7 chip is godly. Also - GamePress - Create, Share, Play. Added controller support. And - Dokuro, added controller support.
Dude I here u, I bought xcom too, it was £15 when I was buying psp games I was spending double that, is all I was saying. I want a controler big time and cos I want one I will be involved in the early versions. They might not be perfect but at least I'll be able to play on ios in a better way in general. When better ones come out I'll upgrade! I'm on the same side, I had an iPad 2 for years but it feels so close now, after new year there will be loads out, another leak today! Crap but another one none the less!
Vita is some sexy hardware, but in terms of the game libraries, my personal opinion is that the 3DS library of games kicks the crap out of the Vita. I personally would pick up the golden 3DS XL Zelda bundle.
back on topic! here are the latest top games with MFi contoller support... 1. http://appshopper.com/games/gangstar-vegas 2. http://appshopper.com/games/double-dragon-trilogy 3. http://appshopper.com/games/king-oddball 4. http://appshopper.com/games/dungeon-hunter-4 looks like gameloft is updating its library!! hopefully soon we see GTA updates!
I am excited to see Razer is developing an iOS controller. The one that leaked certainly doesn't look ideal but I tried out the windows tablet controller system they put out with their own tablet and I liked it a lot. So maybe they will make a quality iPad controller system. Either way, it will be nice to have a hardware maker that doesn't put out janky feeling controllers.
Yes! Razer is the only 3rd party manufacturer that makes great controllers. Hopefully they'll build a Bluetooth iOS controller too.
The Logitech Powershell is available for pre-order on Amazon. Amazon says it'll be released on December 15th. Also, prices are falling on the pre-MFI controllers:
What that duo gamer is a bargain for $5, especially if it comes with free shipping, the gameloft games run great with it. The icade too if you have an iphone.
Super excited that dungeon hunter 4 has controller support. That one game is pretty much the game i was looking at before i decided to buy a moga. Good to see that Gameloft is fully onboard. Support for the new Mfi standard is gaining more traction then i thought it would. Just need a few more controller options (which i'm sure will trickle out in the next few months) and we're golden. Great time to be an iPhone gamer
For sure! All we need now is MC5 out with dual sticks and multiplayer, and we are done! I can't wait for GTA San Andreas too, that will be something!
I have been going through the game list on page one but not loving most of what i see there. So far I have AVP, storm raiders, POP, ravensword, dead trigger, and asphalt. In the App Store wishlist I have ocean horn, COD, Spiral, bastion and wolf amoung us. Have I missed anything worth getting here? I'm waiting on release of GTA San, and MC5 too.
I guess it is for here. Bard's Tale gets iOS7 support and limits to only dual stick models: Native iOS gamepad support - requires iOS 7.0+ and extended gamepad (model equipped with dual analog sticks)
How is storm raiders working for you? Cause i know its a vertical shooter, is it hard to play landscape?
You know $5 is a great deal for the icade mobile, assuming it has free shipping, will have to buy one if so for my iphone 4.
