Defo, have to wait for the inevitable Bluetooth controller for that, till then, phone will do! I'm on a 5S anyway so it's better at taking the graphics than my iPad mini!
Yeah, I did. Couldn't believe Apple geniuses do not even know what an ios 7 joystick is. And Apple stores would have none at all, especially before black friday the busiest sale date in the world. That mean the general public knows nothing about them. So sad.
I know, for me it's the start of REALLY playing games in my phone / iPad one day! GTA San. And COD? Hours of my life will be lost! Phone won't be just a quick play device, more like a vita style gadget!!!
I've not owned a Nintendo since my old N64!! Goldeneye, how many hours I lost to this game I will never know!
Wii U is my favorite console in a long time! If you judge hardware by how drastic the change was from last generation to this one, then Wii U is the most "next gen" system out of all of them. Now, the games are coming along nicely!! Smash Brothers is right around the corner......
If Apple geniuses do not know, how the heck would the public know, and not one commercial on tv at all. So sad, cause it won't gain any traction during xmas. With no publicity, no one will be asking for one as an xmas gift.
I sure hope that when a Bluetooth one finally hits that they will at least show both styles off in an ad. Even just in passing, anything would help! Any Bluetooth options on the horizon yet?
I just found this video online of some COD gameplay with the Moga, it looks really quite good, not so touchy as dead trigger2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-_25mMjLeY check it out! My Moga is on its was for christmas!!
I just don't want to play games on my phone. I have an iPad and a 3DS XL. I want to play games on those. It's funny really, because I was singing the end of dedicated handheld gaming systems when the Vita and 3DS were released. I thought "there is no way they can compete with ios" Well I was dead wrong!!! My 3DS game library kicks the CRAP out of my ios game library. The way Apple is handling this whole controller issue is exactly why dedicated game systems will be around for a long time. They will be around because it seems like Apple wants them to be. That and the fact that games like Zelda, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, and Mario are of a way higher quality than 99% of everything on the App Store. I thought FOR SURE, by now, Apple would have a controller setup with games being played through the Apple TV...........seems like a no-brainer!!
Apple struck a secret deal with the two big handheld companies, to not accelerate the gaming on iOS on a level like we see on Sony's vita and Nintendo's 3ds. Apple could easily push these two off in 6 months to a year.. But they want to slow down the progress significantly. There is more money to be made by all 3 parties the way things are carrying on, instead of apple just releasing everything out just on iOS in the short term. Money is the cause of the the current situation.
Seems like there are alot of is serious gamers with ipads that want a joystick and use of hdmi or apple tv to make it a console. Come on Apple, come out with a blue tooth xbox or ps type controller!
Agreed! What's exciting is ALL of the software to do this is already in place and installed in millions of devices around the world. We're only waiting for a great Bluetooth controller to arrive. It can't come soon enough for me!
Does anyone know if the bladepad and gamecase will be available by christmas? Also if they are any good? The GameCase website isnt very useful. The bladepad looks great hardware wise, but im not so sure about the controllers control layout. Thanks.
My five minutes with Moga and Logitech. I just got back from Best Buy a few minutes ago and I had a chance to try out the mocha and the Logitech both on the store demo Moga was not powered on and when I put my phone into it it didn't recognize my phone so I really didn't have a chance to try out the controllers The design felt cheap but not horrible I could probably still work with it. I think a cheap allegations are kind of overreaction to it felt fine. It was a little weird that even though the battery wasn't charged up when I put my phone in which I charge on it it still wouldn't recognize my phone play the games. I'm sure if you would've used to control of that hadn't been everybody else was a store demo it would work fine Logitech I was actually little disappointed with the Logitech controller and although it had a battery charge I put my phone in it. And recognize my phone and I could use the controls for a couple games. COD was completely useless Oceanhorn it was very hard to use with just using the D pad and Galaxy on fire Kept crashing on me. The responsiveness of the Logitech was very disappointing. I'm using the d-pad especially it didn't seem like it very quickly. Just my two cents but I think I'm going to go with the moga
