I hope so - even if it's just some of the extra component tiles, they really add a lot to the game (DLC additional campaign perhaps?). Adding all of the expansions would be massive, and I'd happily pay a reasonable sum for all of them.
The game is one the best games on its kind, surely have a lot to offer later, but until now has a lot to enjoy also
I read they will add them if the sales are good. Seeing their place in the charts, it should become reality
I've still got all that and the VHS tape that came with Falcon 3 Gold! Unfortunately my Falcon 4 manual is the abridged version... I ask because it might provide some incentive to iPhone-only users to buy it during your sale period. As a user, I much prefer a universal build in situations like this mostly because I'm hoping not to have to pay twice for expansions/DLC. If you do separate apps, please consider tying expansion purchases to a user's account, meaning that if I purchase DLC #1 on the iPad, that information carries into my account when I log in so that when I log in on my iPhone I can still play with the expansion. (This method works great for multiplatform releases...)
Anyone else have an issue with sound not playing in the game, either effects or music? Don't have the issue with any other game on my iPad
Hi! Thanks for pointing that out. We are currently working on it, since more people asked about this feature. I will let you guys know how it's going. But it is our top priority right now.
Fine-I admit it, I no longer need a manual. The "play one more turn" bug has bit me, and, combined with the simplicity of the ruleset has alleviated my concern. I STILL prefer having an instrunction manual heavy enough to kill a man with
Yea the game turned out to be simpler than first blush - its the random nature of the card draw combined with being able to somewhat predict what you will face on a given flight that creates the complexity.
Bloody hell...congrats! This Pocketgamer review is practically gushing about the game! How in the world didn't they give it a platinum award? O_O
I've found a small bug I think. It doesn't affect gameplay in any way, and actually corrects itself later on I think. In the message log for online it will say I have revealed an absurd amount of tiles, and then when someone else takes their turn it changes to the actual amount of tiles i revealed. You can see it here. http://imgur.com/HJjVpT8 It says I have revealed 190 tiles, but further up on previous turns it shows the correct amount.
Game Impressions Just wanted to add my two bits.. really nice implementation of the board game, second only to Carcassonne in my opinion with regards to implementation of online, asynchronous multiplayer of a board game. The only addition that might be nice is just simple in-game chat or am I just missing it? The campaign for single player is a great introduction to the game world, and I've got no complaints so far. The material, text, instructions and information are presented in a great style and very clear. Can't wait for the universal port! Very well done and congratulations on a great addition to the iOS/board game collection!
It doesn't look like we can expect a universal update unfortunately. https://mobile.twitter.com/GTruckerapp/status/517317193768660992 Great game though! Pedroapan
Hello truckers. Many of you asked us for an option to create private games just for your buddies. We planned to add this as one of the first updates of the multiplayer system, but it will take some time until it will be finished, play-tested and approved by AppStore. However, the demand for this feature is really big, so we implemented a temporary solution on the server side that does not need an update of the app. From now on, a game with a name consisting of ## followed by a list of players is invisible to players outside that list. For example, if you name your game: ## LittleJohn, Cindy666 only you and players named LittleJohn and Cindy666 will be able to see and join it. Thank you for understanding. We hope it will help for now, and meanwhile, we will be working on a more comfortable way how to do this.
wow, that is a developer who cares! btw: awesome game, i am really enjoying it and also the humor is great. will test multiplayer soon i guess. must have game!
I stiil don't understand how the lobbt works for online realtime games that haven't started let. How can the status of players in a realtime game be red, which means that that player doesn't have the app running? According to the instructions, this is not possible because to be 'IN' a realtime game you have to be running the app and be connected and in the game. If you close the app you'll leave that game so instead of the status being red the slot which you had occupied should be empty.
I'm not a big board game fan, but this is hands down the best board game I ever played in digital format. The campaign by itself is worth the price of admission and I love how it slowly grows and expands the game variety. Great for people new to the game. Yesterday I played my first few online games and it played flawlessly except for one crash but everyone joined back easily. The variety in online is also tremendous in the game setup, turn based vs real time, amazing job not just sticking to the vanilla board game and daring to expand it! EDIT: I wanted to add that initially I wasn't having much fun. For me at least, it was one of those games that slowly won me over. So my advise is that if you at first don't see the appeal, it might be worth your time to stick with it.
i'm in three turn-based games where the players are very slow to take their turns. Losing interest because when it is you turn there is not a whole lot to do. I'm starting to think this game is not suited to online async. The games would be more interesting if they were in real-time with players contiuously connected and quickly taking their turns. Except in the lobby i didn't se even one real-time game right now.
