I bought this on a $5 sale, and it's absolutely one of my favorite games on iOS. In fact, it brought me back to the good ol' PC days of playing Freelancer and the like (though not as deep as Freespace). Certainly worth the grab at the cost of nothing. I haven't bounced yet, but I'm giving some long hard thought to grabbing the expansion packs. If you like space sims that are a little light on the sim, but all space, this fits nicely in that genre.
The offer only granted the add-on when both games were installed simultaneously on the same device. Unfortunately that offer has ceased, and there is no way to obtain Valkyrie for free now. Not sure of the exact date, but it became free in late November/early December last year.
