I don't understand what I have to do when I receive the system in my ship to see where the Voids are entering. I go the the station with the black hole, but what I have to do ? I can destroy the Voids ships, but it seems that it never ends. If I enter the black hole, it seems the same, never ends. Any help ? Thanks in advance,
Was pleasantly surprised to see the GOF2 HD update on App Store. Updated, got my Valkyrie HD and .... gosh, what a game! Thanks, Fishlabs, for rewarding GOF2 owners with the free update for Valkyrie HD. Awesome, stupendous graphics!
kaamo club is unlockable in game. HOWEVER, if you purchased Kaamo club on the SD version be prepared to buy it again or unlock it in the game, because unlike the expansion it doesn't give you credit for a previous purchase. I gladly spent the 99 cents on it again, just to give these guys support, but I thought people should be aware.
Quick question, does this game also have an inside the cockpit view like the Wing Commander games used to have or is it just always a behind the ship view? Also is Valkyrie an in app purchase besides the 10 bucks for the main game or if I buy it now does Valkyrie come along with it? I have a 4s, how well does it run on that? I want the HD version. TIA, don't have time to read this whole thread right now.
I played the lite version some, and I believe it's all third person. And considering 4S is the most powerful iPhone out right now, it'll probably run fairly well
Damn I really like the inside the cockpit view when playing a game like this, gonna have to try the demo/lite version.
If you have never purchased the SD version, and you are buying GOF2 HD then you will have to purchase the Valkyrie HD Add-on as an IAP. The only people who got it (Valkyrie HD) free were those who own the GOF2 SD version. That being said you can literally play for many many hours without the addon. It's a very long game, not your typical iOs game as far as length goes I'd say from 10-13 hours long for the main game..
Hey guys, cheers for your interest in Valkyrie HD. We're all really happy that it's finally out! It's about time that Keith gets to infiltrate the Valkyrie station in High Definition on the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 as well. As for the medals, as far as I know there are no new challenges in Valkyrie. If I'm not mistaken, there is one challenge, in which you could only get a silver medal before and now you can also earn a gold medal. But I'm not 100% sure. To be honest, I've never collected achievements too eagerly... Also, there is unfortunately no cockpit view in Galaxy on Fire 2 or its add-ons yet. However, we will surely add it in GOF3 in the future.
Okay, so I'm new to Galaxy on Fire. If I purchase GOF 2, I can then purchase in-game Valkyrie? Or is it free with purchasing GOF 2? ta edit: never mind. £2.99 in-game. that will do

Looks like if you have both the SD and HD versions on the same device, it unlocks Valkyrie in the HD version. With the SD version on sale, it might be worth it buying them both if you have an older device you might want to play it on...
Yep, just have Valkyrie unlocked on both versions, and merely save your file to Openfeint of iCloud, then load it on the other version.
Hey guys, in the past we had some difficulties with the save game transfer, because it was not possible to continue save games of GOF2 SD incl. Valkyrie in GOF2 HD without Valkyrie. Hence, only gamers who didn't have Valkyrie SD could transfer their old SD-save games to HD. Now, with Valykrie being available for both versions of GOF2, you can finally transfer your save games freely via iCloud or Open Feint. BTW, we have already optimized both the SD and the HD version of GOF2 and Valkyrie for the Retina display and 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution of the new iPad. The whole user interface and all buttons and controls elements have been adjusted accordently and we're very eager to see how the game performs on Apple's new tablet.
