I would like to copy that sentiment. The bugs have been frustrating, but i appreciate you getting updates out quickly. I also sincerely appreciate you coming to where the fans are--meeting us where we are--and not making us seek you out. I know Fishlabs isn't as big as some software companies, but that's pretty cool for a CEO to do.
Ketar Repair Bot II Anyone know where to buy the Ketar Repair Bot II. I've looked all over. i saw it several times in the storyline, but no it's nowhere to be found. I really need it for my Void system ventures. Thanks.
Well, sometimes if you want to find something, give up looking for it. I was about to move on to another strategy and then found it on N'arrki Station in V'ikka system.
The "fun" part of this game is random stock per "shop". It is irony that you come across goodies when you cannot afford and/or need for the moment, but when an item is needed, it seems to be of nowhere at all. Patience is a must for this kind of game -- I seek more than half of the systems for a Mantis and when I finally fly in one, it seems they are everywhere...
It's random for certain items, but not all. Some stations have a high percentage rate for certain items to appear. Such as titanium in Vossk systems and organs in the pan system.
Appreciate the dev's quick updating. Does anyone know how to use the rhoda vortex? I'm not exactly sure how it works. And sorry if this has been asked already, but is there a bug with the first ship you choose to stow in the kaamo station? because i had a mantis to stow and now its gone :[
The rhoda vortex allows you to slow down time. There is a semi-transparent button where the fast forward button usually is during normal gameplay. Click on that spot and it should activate it.
I got my 30 million in less than a day, and like everyone else, I'm having trouble with the buskat. I logged in 6 hours of playtime since I started searching for it, and I've found 5. That's just going back and forth between planets too, no side trips or anything. Leading me to believe it'll take 60 hours to get enough? I'm guessing I was just unlucky, but still. I've never been a fan of artificial difficulty in games. Especially when there're three price tags on it.
Cool! Thanks for the info. I haven't played Valkirie much yet, and haven't encountered any bugs either, but it's nice to see such good support in games
That's one of the bugs and should be resolved soon. When purchasing a new ship and keeping the previous in Kaamo, sometimes it won't show in Kaamo at all. This bug doesn't happen always though. Buskat shows up randomly in small dosages. Patience is key here I guess.
1.0.6 Bugfix Update is out Valkyrie: Fixed a bug where at the end of Valkyrie you could not sell or equip your Khador drive Valkyrie: Fixed a bug where two blueprints were missing when loading an older savegame Fixed a bug where you sometimes could not transfer your old ship to your hangar on Kaamo Fixed a bug where you have to had enough credits to transfer items to your cargo on Kaamo Fixed an issue where the Phantom fighter was not displayed in the Load/Save menu Fixed some sound quality issues
Any more hints on getting Void essenes? I know blowing up asteroid may help, but it is too random. May I need a better drill. And a lot of wingmen. Does essence only appear if I drill an asteroid completely?
yes, it only appears when you drill the asteroid completely.. shooting at the asteroid give 1/15 chance (I think) to get a void essence, and I don't think that's hard.. mining it at high level is too risky..
No need for wingmen. If you can grab the blueprint for Yin Co Shadow Ninja cloak, you're good to go. Plus Core mining practice of course.
Have you tried Star Battalion? That's pretty fun and gets you right into the action. Although, there really isn't a lot of tedious micro-managing in GOF2 because there is action and fighting almost everywhere you go in the galaxy of the game. There's just a lot involved that slowly builds up over time. I've never been bored in this game and you can go as slow or as fast as you want in the action.
Any leads on where to find this blueprint? I know finding blueprints is really random, but the race who sells it or the name of the system in which you found it would be helpful.
What I did is just bought an Aegis and flew around in that until I got the Mantis. Because of the generous selling back for full price factor you may as well trial ships or weapons without the threat of wasting money. Mantis + 4 Sunfire 0s things are awesome.
