Just got my 4th disruptor laser. Man them things kick but the sound isn't great. Wish it sounded better
It came to the game in the same update the Valkyrie add on did, so it was just part of the update. And could someone help me here.... Does having more repair bots increase the speed of the repairs they make? And how is my ship? I think I'm going to cave in and buy the valkyrie expansion, after I finish my last AP or it would be too distracting, spent 24 hrs 2 days before my first exam... Just got the void x, and it sure does turn and handle really well, although the cargo space is rather low (30). I use double wolverines for sniping, then tyrfing blasters since they have the highest dps, I have 4 MD but im not sure if I like them that much. Is there anything that can increase base speed? or do all ships travel the same speed?
I have tried all Big 3. Which one is the best depends on your style and taste. I like Aegir least and find turrent useless. So I am currently flying Mantis -- I am still early in Valkyrie. I dunno about the speed thing -- I think that whatever ship you are flying, it is always slower than everybody else...
Could someone explain this game to me? It looks beautiful, but is it a lot of micro-management? If I just want to play a space shooter without a ton of menus and convoluted stuff going on, is this a good choice? Or is it really slow paced?
It is a trader and/or shooter game. Not a lot of micromanagement but I doubt shooting alone can earn you much of a living (in the game, i.e.).
Yea, I can't finish the campaign to get all the gold medals until they fix the bug with the campaign. I have found the Wraith around the Nesla and in Pan a couple of times. The Phantom i have only seen a couple of times and the only one i remember was in Pan or Aquila. Neither of the ships are that great though, but they look great.
Just finished the expansion ( and grabbed my VoidX in the process! )... wish it had been longer Some events towards the end showed quite a bit of promise in terms of future expansions... again I just hope there *are* future expansions. For the time I put into the entire game overall, it's a great purchase with a lot of polish.
Why not? Did that yesterday, all medals and the 92 achievements, no problems at all (except the usual trouble getting them to sync to Game Center).

Bugs fixed Hi Guys, first off, please accept our sincere apologies for all the bugs that unfortunately we have not found before we released the update 1.0.4 including Valkyrie. By nature, GOF2 is a beast to QA given its sandbox-style and adding content make things just worse. We simply totally underestimated the complexity when people update the game and use existing save games in the new version and/or the add-on. Also, the testing scenarios with all the new features in Valkyrie and the Kaamo club is quite intense. Anyway, the good news is the update 1.0.6 is currently in review and we expect to see it go live within the next 24 hours. We also have the next update 1.0.7 ready that we will submit immediately when 1.0.6 is live. This should fix all additional bugs that popped up in the meantime.
