Don't know if it's been reported, but I think I might have a multitasking-related bug. The game freezes very, very frequently on the loading screen. As it never happened after starting the game from the main menu, it must be some multitasking glitch.

Assuming you are playing the original storyline, It may be that it was just there and hasn't reappeared yet. I think that happened to me once. Try flying around to a couple different systems and see if it reappears somewhere else. If that doesn't work, reset phone.

With the own-your-own station add-on and all this talk of what to add, it makes me really want this game to evolve into an iOS version of X3. Fleets of trade ships and wingmen independently working. That's why I bought this game to begin with. I spent soooo many hours on X3 and I was really excited to start playing GOF2. Keep the updates coming, devs! (Although, 4.99 an add-on will start to get a bit pricey)

I got the game because of being an avid X2 The Threat player (actually bought the LGPs linux port of the game).

Nice to meet another X fan. I'm sure there are plenty who bought GOF for the same reasons as us. I know a lot of things happening in real time could drain memory and battery, but there's gotta be way. They obviously know what they are doing.

I play on Hard and it took me about 3 or 4 hours. I'm still playing by stockpiling all the items I can find. This way in future updates if I get a new blueprint, I'll be prepared :D.

Oh and off topic, just to bring up something I posted much earlier.

Why does the original Vossk ship have 4 guns on the model yet 2 weapons slots? I think fishlab should remove 2 of the guns on the original vossk ship or give it 4 gun slots.

Me too - one hour playtime on 'Hard' for the mission pack - I was expecting more tbh. Love the game but there really should have been more missions in the storyline.
The updates and additions are welcome too but in hindsight, it feels expensive for what it was (related to the price of the original game).

I finally found the wormhole, but here's how long it took me to finish this mission. First I jumped about five systems, went into the void system, started mining, got killed because I had to leave one of my shields behind to make room for the drill. Started over five systems back then realized that the game only saved when you docked in a system. This could be made more clear, as I wasted much time before withtedious system jumping. The game save message should flash in large text when you're in a hanger. I also didn't follow the storyline in the beginning and just freelanced, which was really hard because I didn't get any fast payouts from doing missions and had to scrape money together with tedious drilling money, which almost got me to quit a couple times out of frustration. It was ages before I could afford a ship that would let me win even a minor battle.

Second attempt to enter void system I go back and start drilling, using my cloaking device this time. I watch my crystal count until it's over fifty then back through the wormhole, barely making it. I dock at home but no 'congrats' message. I check my crystals and I only have 47! I forgot that I had batteries taking up some cargo space. Again, how about a message 'you don't have enough crystals' so you know you need more. Again, another five system jump back to get last 3 crystals only to find the wormhole has moved to the opposite corner of space!

Finally get down there, enter system to find terrans want to kill me because I mistakenly hit one of them during previous battle with pirates. This happens a lot. Can't friendly fire be turned off? So, one stop away from void system, I'm killed again.

After finally getting last 3 crystals, wormhole moves again to my home system, right next to home station, so as I navigate to dock, I go through the wormhole again and end up back in void system, the fourth time I've been there for the same mission. Next time back, the wormhole has moved slightly away from home dock and I made it.

Keep in mind, I'm also doing this very early mission with a void ship, cloaking device, emp weapon, 250 armor, booster, and I still barely survived. I can't imagine the pain had I been following the storyline without first doing a few hours of freelancing to get better equipment/ship.

And I wish you could adjust difficulty in game.

Wow, that would be frustrating. I know what you're feeling, though. If not for Google and these forums, I would have been lost many times over.

I hear you on wanting to adjust game difficulty in game. I usually start out on easy just to learn the game, but it would be great if I could switch it now because nothing can stand up to my well-armed Mantis with the Sight Suppressor.

I would seriously suggest that you save manually as you progress through the game, and don't just rely on the auto-save, especially when entering into unknown situations. This way, if things go wrong you can always go back to exactly where you left off.

Seems I encountered some sort of bug, I finished the mission with the cronus ship and the build in khador drive. I now bought back my own ship and I have the khador drive in my hangar, but when I try to equip it again, it tells , that this item can currently not be sold or unrigged.

Anyone had this issue as well?

That is a known bug that has been reported a lot over on the Fishlabs forums. It has already been fixed in an update to come soon.

    Hey Fishlabs!!

Not sure if it's been suggested but I'd like the option to send my equipment, items, etc back to my station.... for a shipping fee of course :)

I hope the update doesn't erase my saved game.....xxcrossing fingersxx

I know right! I also played X3 to death and I hope to see this game (or its sequel) become X3 for Iphone.

I wont argue with that assessment Juicebox, as I stated earlier to Natefish.

Although some similarities to X3 would be really cool, even further convention on X3 would be even more ideal.

I just did the second Valkyrie mission where I test out the automatic turret. When I got the blueprints for the liberator missile, I suddenly noticed that ALL of my credits were gone. I mean, nothing. Is this a bug or do I get these credits back somehow?

There was no chance to do a manual save when I got back, so I hope this was a one-time glitch.

    There are automatic turrets?!?!

Is this only with the DLC?

Anyone know where to find Baskat? I've searched all the systems, and am still stuck at 37 tons.

And is there a certain place to find missions that make you ferry poeple? Since I can't seem to find any of those, and its the last gold medal i need.

And is this a glitch? Because I have a midorian signature when I thought that could only happen when you bought the iap.
