Hey, small extra question. Regarding controls, is there a 'preferred' control scheme by the GoF community? Does anyone for example use the tilt controls? Edit: Also, is it possible to play ipod background music? I'd love to play the star wars soundtrack in the background as I find the standard music epicly boring.. I can't seem to get that to work
I always use touch controls. Racing games are an exception (Real Racing 2 for example). My controls sound pretty much like this: touch without inverted activated and with sensitivity at about 100%. It steers like a dream. Hmmm, I managed to play music on my old iPod 2nd gen with no problems...You should start your music from outside the app and then turn off the sounds you want from Galaxy on Fire's menu. That should do it. Be careful though to not reduce your FPS. PS: By default if you start with your music it automatically turns the music off.

Thanks. The best part, erm from what i could translate is that it's going to have TV-OUT like Real Racing 2 HD. That alone is going to be SWEET!!! I already picked up Order & Chaos(can't wait to play it either), but I may be looking forward to this update a little more atm...
This game is amazing, so much nicer then the first game which felt a bit too arcade like, the items and ships feel better in this also. Only thing I dislike is all the loading, 2g touch takes a good 6-7 seconds to load in and out of most areas so traveling to different regions can take a little while just to earn 8k credits or something, very glad you can save a file online too as I so want to play this on a better device or ipad one day, even on a tv-out on ipad 2!
1. Thank god I have an ipad. 2. This is great news. I recently had to buy a new ipad, since my old one failed on me... and I had to replay the game from beginning in order to unlock everything again... It looks like I don't have to do this again, once I move to ipad 2 .

Checked all the videos and all their photos and I could count about 6, I guess. But there might be more (Inventory: 3 classic ships, 2 white ships, the vossk ship with the turret...).
The DLC is the thing I'm by far the most excited about. It'll be an insta-buy. But one question: 0:00 AM, will the time be the same for all timezones (will it release first in timezones in the east and last in timezones in the west), or will it release everywhere at the same time, if it's the second, then 0:00 AM in wich timezone?
Really looking forward to all the new stuff. I revisited the game over the past week or so to earn lots of (in game) money to buy these amazing new ships. Excellent work guys - one of the finest iOS games!
Is the Valkyrie in-app purchase an add on to the end of the game, or is it a whole different story? What I'm trying to say is will I have the choice to play the original story or the Valkyrie, or is it just an add on to the original story?
Ups...Yeah, indeed. So 7....I wonder how many more there are... It's been said that you have to have finished the main story in order to unlock Valkyrie's plot. As for Valkyrie it's a whole new story...
yep, the story of Valkyrie starts off when you have completed the main plot of the original game. However, there's a lot of stuff to discover independently AND there is some new stuff and improvements even if you don't purchase the add-on One more thing: When we flip the switch it will go live everywhere at the same time as it is an update. Only two hours and ten minutes left...
