I FINALLY got the crystals, now just to get back *phew*

I just got used to dying ( about 10 times i think?)

Anyway, A max of 2 Ships will appear once you come to the void place, kill those and start mining the crystals, another 2 might show up a 1min or so later and you kill those and keep mining.

That is what I did.

 

lol. dudes, if, hypothetically, i were to tell you i got the fifty crystals on my first go, how would you react?

Well I did. Space ship was the type 43, I used two of the reheat thermos weapons and the 4.0 miner. Go thru portal, kill voids, mine, mine other asteroid, stop halfway through, kill new voids, mine, finish. I used the 75% cargo compressor to be able to fit 52 tonnes of stuff. I also had the second best shield equipped.

Simples.

I am almost done with the mission, just have to take the stuff back

 

Nuking them with an AMR Opressor worked for me
I was able to keep the aliens off me for the whole mining session. I got the 50 crystals in one go plus the core to boot

 

Has anyone finished the game yet?

 

actually to get 50 the first try wasnt hard at all.. went in there and got 108 my first try, and had a few to sell off..

I am currently using a salvehn

Just destroyed the void mother ship, and used the khador drive to warp out

at that point the screen started shaking, and alternating between 2 space screens... went on for 15 mins before i just shut it down

is this the end of the story?

also, i have noticed (perhaps due to the multitasking) if i quit and then resume the game. the dialog scenes skip ahead to the end... so miss a few..

to avoid this I force quit the game and then just launch it normally again
(or play on my phone) which is what i will do on this mission

 

I think there were a couple people a few pages back that did.

I'm taking my sweet time though. I just finally managed to get the Mantis and I'm having a blast equipping 4 MaxHeat thermos.

I started on easy setting, can I change it to normal or do I have to restart.
Is "normal" hard?

I don't want to replay missions again and again to progress, but "easy" is really no challenge..

Managed to repro that bug on my iPhone

Perhaps it isn't a bug just the result of using the khador drive with no destination

Thought it would be an easy way to escape

 

I found the same bug. It repeats and repeats the same scene over and over again. You have to use the worm-hole to get back instead of the warp-drive.

EVERYONE, You can "double-up" on any of the cargo-compression items. I'm using 2 Rhoda-black-hole-compressors.

No, not really. If you use the warp without destination it just takes you to and from the Void's world.
