Still loving this game and getting better. Still cannot get past a sun lol. Other games no issue making watermelon. So this one for sure has more difficulty. But I do have one issue that is starting to become a big one. The game ends too quickly when something is even over the line a tiny bit. I get it ends when over. But if there is still a lot of room, you have a shake, a bomb, etc you should have more time. Maybe a timer should count down. Or you have 1-2 more moves. I’ll show a pic for what I am saying. I was on my best run and I accidentally dropped a star that went just over the line. I still had so much room and a shake. The game ended too quickly for me to react. I was saaaad lol.
Does your finger obscure movement on this game? I found that to be a issue playing the browser version of suika
It’s handled really well here, I think. You can tap anywhere on the screen to start your move. It’s relative touch so you don’t run out of screen real-estate and have to drop a piece where you don’t want to. Hope that makes sense.
Hi! Thanks for the feedback. The usual suika behavior is that the second something reaches the line, it is game over. In our case, when you get to the top line, you have between 2 and 3 seconds (I have to double check) and then it's game over. Do you feel like an animation showing you the remaining time or to indicate that you have to hurry up would help?
Some kind of countdown or something would be great. But if that’s the design that’s the design. I just find it ends extremely abruptly. I certainly don’t feel like I have 2-3 seconds. In my pic above I had so much more room and a shake available. Losing like that hurt lol.
What hurts even more is losing after using a shake, happened to me twice, but it’s rare tho. I think the shakes should be slightly stronger from my point of view, but that said, it’s a fantastic game and is near perfection especially for the asking price, so please dev, don’t worry too much about those tiny things, we already love your game as it is.
H Hello, I was wondering, will you update the game and add more features? Would be fantastic if you could add a few things, I wouldn’t even mind if you were to add one iap for another mode (like a time attack, challenge etc…), a new back ground would be lovely too, like with the constellations or else. You could add so many cool things.
We do! Next update will be about minor bug fixing, improving game feel (such as for finish line) and localization, but we are working on additional game modes (time attack is one of them!) It might sound a little cocky, but we want to create the ultimate watermelon experience on mobile. Also, a question related to our updates: Did any of you got a "review" pop-up (asking to give a rating) during your playthrough?
