(Also, wouldn't mind if some developer was inspired to do a similar updated version of Pleiads!) BulkSlash Active Member Jul 27, 2010 25 0 1 http://twitter.com/BulkSlash #7 BulkSlash, Jun 24, 2016 Cool! I love a bit of Galaga, I just hope Namco support it this time. The last couple of Galaga games (Tekken Galaga and Galaga 30th Collection) were awesome but weren't updated. 30th Collection in particular was an awesome Pac-Man CE style game that was just a few fixes short of greatness. bigrand1 Well-Known Member Apr 23, 2010 4,968 7 38 Geriatric Party Animal California, USA #8 bigrand1, Jun 25, 2016 Hey, by the way when is this gonna be released! Bunch of upgades and is a great year for shoot em ups. Phoenix 2 coming out. Sky force , this is awesome Royce Well-Known Member Mar 22, 2011 4,240 180 63 #10 Royce, Jun 27, 2016 Don't forget Danmaku Unlimited 3 is coming too! Jayg2015 Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2015 3,734 41 48 Male Player 1 Liberty city #11 Jayg2015, Jun 28, 2016 Wow with all the spotlight that was on sky force I would of thought everyone would have wanted this game . It's a great free to play CygnetSeven Well-Known Member Feb 6, 2010 7,596 33 48 #12 CygnetSeven, Jun 28, 2016 Played for an hour a half hour and completed the daily mission. I've earned 989 coins to upgrade my ship. Kind of a cross between Galaga but with Pac Man 256 or Crossy Roads style of "how far can you get?" My high score so far is 19,149. You can skip levels with warp nodes you acquire in gameplay, I've picked up 43 so far. All in all I'm really enjoying the more frantic pace, bullet hell boss fights, power ups and great graphics. A win for me. Jayg2015 Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2015 3,734 41 48 Male Player 1 Liberty city #13 Jayg2015, Jul 26, 2016 Wow people. Everyone should be trying this one out. It's going to fly under the radar it looks like. It's a mix between old galaga with today's technology and best games. They blended a free to play model with premium so well . I'm never watching or seeing ads ever. Upgrading and collecting currency which is my favorite part. Buying parts and powerups are perfect. Too bad games like this go unnoticed . Everyone who likes galaga , shootem ups, rpg elements, addictive games should try this one out Shaun Musgrave Well-Known Member Jul 8, 2013 1,088 3 38 Freelance writer, teacher, business owner Ibaraki, Japan #14 Shaun Musgrave, Jul 26, 2016 I'm sure it'll get more attention when it's available in more than two countries. mj132 Well-Known Member Oct 2, 2013 354 5 18 United Kingdom #15 mj132, Jul 26, 2016 Yes it's a great shooter and I'm enjoying playing it. LordShad0wz Well-Known Member Nov 19, 2014 4,280 1 38 #19 LordShad0wz, Nov 1, 2016 Hell Yeah! As an old school gamer of 43 years old I grew up with Galaga in the actual Arcade. Since then I've had pretty much every iteration of Galaga on every console ever made. I have the other versions of Galaga even on IOS. Now we have this new version. I freaken love it!! Not only do you get to play Galaga with those familiar ships and patterns but you can even buy and use ships from other famous games such as Galaxian, Starblade, and Xevious. Holy hell its awesome! I played those games in the Arcade and on consoles too. In this game each ship has its own unique power ups and abilities. I purchased all of the ships. I purchased the welcome package with the No forced ads and the coins. I also purchased the coin doubler. The game is definitely worth it to me. You use in game coins to upgrade each ships power up abilities. You also collect warp capsules which allow you to warp to later levels so you don't have to start over after dying. You can watch opt in ads to continue once per game and for coins. You get periodic boxes that give you goodies like coins and power ups and warp capsules. I am completely happy with how they e done the monetization in the game. The costs are not expensive and the fun and replayability is high. I love the artwork and the AI is pretty tough. I like the boss battles as well. I'm really happy with this release. I hope they continue to expand it. Namco actually did a great job with this one. I was afraid it was going to be full of energy timers and it isn't. It's a damn fun game! Billy sobriquet Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jul 30, 2015 1,216 1 38 #20 sobriquet, Nov 1, 2016 So far, not bad. I don't like the upgrade timers but at least you can buy them off with coins. No premium currency at all. Not even the coins can by purchased. You do get coins with the starter pack but I don't see a coin store. Six bucks gets you everything in the game which I think is well worth it. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
