Can people that have already found pins be ineligible the next time around? It would give those of us that don't have as much time to play a better chance
Nice one drelbs! But so sorry Faultyairlock... I had found the Badlakes, Skybolts and Justicide pins already and posted them. I had found the Veskevin pin prior but hadn't posted it yet, so you got to steal at least one from me. With another build on its way...guess I'll claim some more new pins...two of these are from playing today.
That's cool dakkon. Congratulations! I knew some of these had been posted but couldn't remember which ones. Yes, I could have checked the thread, but I was doing this at work so I had to be quick. It is a real kick to find these pins but in glad more people are finding and posting them this time around.
Funny - Faultyairlock beat you to the Starfire pin some pages back, and you've already posted the Justicide pin. I'd have found more pins myself if I hadn't kept getting Enveloped all the freaking time!
Dakkon and Drelbs, if I'm ever on a plane that crashes in the middle of nowhere I want you guys to be there too. That way at least I know I'll have a chance of making it out alive! Maybe you'll even find me some pins along the way
As long as someone remembers to bring along their stash of advanced nanobots and a couple of old red keys, we'll be fine!
*DISCLAIMER* The ability to survive for extended sessions of Galactic Keep gameplay may not enhance your ability to survive after an actual plane crash.
Well, hopefully people knew I was kidding, but just in case there was any confusion - I was just kidding! I used to be able to practically navigate entire dungeons in the original Might & Magic RPG with my eyes closed, yet I sometimes I can barely find a house in the same town I live in. Sometimes I do wish video game skillz translated well to real life, though.
Haha...well played Gilded Skull. PointOfLight....of course you were kidding. I wouldn't survive the crash but my replacement will teleport in from the coalition. They might be of service!
Of course it would! If I were a bad ass robot with bladed, poisoned machine guns attached to my limbs...
I think my super lucky streak is at an end. I only seem to find duplicate pins now if I get any pins at all. Hey Gilded Skull...do you guys know yet how many modules you will have available with the launch of the game? With the number of characters available I find myself having fun replaying the same module to build up their stats but am a little tired of the story. Fun story and I like the depth, but I'm just itching for more. Have you decided a pricing model for release?
'The Cell' is going to be the first module available in the game for launch. We are currently working on several other modules (we have been planing and designing modules since the project began) but chose to focus on tightening up this one module for launch because (a) it was large, (b) it was a good showcase of the core components of the game and (c) we want to get the game out! Future content releases will be somewhat dependant on how the game is received... As far as our pricing model, GK will launch as a premium game. We have a long term strategy but we want to see how things go with the launch first. As time goes on we'd like to update with mechanics that could provide additional gameplay paths, more ways to play the game, things like: player-placed traps and enemy beacons, area-of-effect grenades, 'sniping', drones, pets and turrets (among other things). These are all elements that won't make it into the initial offering but could be implemented at a later date. There are a lot of other things that we have planned too. We may fold these features into content releases (along with new stories/maps/characters/loot) or add them in updates...but let's not get ahead of ourselves...
I completely agree with (a), (b), and (c). The Cell is quite big, takes a while to play and has some hidden secrets that can be easily missed the first time through. It also showed me how to effectively play the game without getting overwhelmed. Lastly...since following your progress from 2009, I've been eagerly awaiting this games' release. Having played this build it feels like it is very close to being done I hope. I like the sounds of the future additions to the game. I'm even more excited than before to see this game released.
