Another GREAT preview. http://www.gamezebo.com/2014/08/01/galactic-keep-dice-battles-hands-on-preview/ (Sorry Emos )
Noprize for Emos! We can't believe how people are reacting to the game. It's quite exciting. We've been trapped in our dungeons drawing, writing and coding...barely seeing the light of day...and we've had no idea if what we were working was is any good. We like it but there's no telling if anyone else will be into it. This kind of response makes it all worthwhile. In other news, Emos might have written the 600th reply in this thread (?). Is there a reward for that? A noprize? Entry to the alpha?
I think I wrote you this directly in my first mail after trying the 'alpha'...you made something very special.... I second this early alpha access prize
Heh, well if yer gonna twist my arm I guess I can participate in the alpha actually been waiting for this to become a reality since it was first shown in 2009 (prehistoric by iOS standards). I even participated in your Kickstarter, I was bummed it didn't work out for you. The crowd over at PT is also excited for this, I really believe you'll have a hit on your hands just based on the feedback I've been hearing so far.
Speaking of awesomness, trying the 'infiltrator' route in this game is absolutely awesome. I'm using Larin of course, trying to stick to her 'not messy' reputation. Sneaking around feral beasts using the ologram armour is sooooo tense....
I confess. I'm the one that suggested the health bar go from green to red, which seems to me to be the natural and logical progression of alive to dead. I'm not a fan of the transparency, which I'm basing on how the health bar should look *logically*. I get the point about blood and bleeding out but this came up when I was playing with Mharnos, who supposedly has oil in his veins, and some of those aliens I killed probably had yellow or blue blood. It was a bit confusing at first, seeing it go from Red to Green but I guess I'm okay with whatever it sets up as in the final version. However, if it is to be total green means death, I think that must be explained quite clearly somewhere in the tutorial.
temporal paradox Progress is good. We sorted through feedback from the Pre-Alpha, are making changes and have continued with development. We'll (hopefully) be the cleanup stages soon. Unlockable character temporal paradox: If you play through a second time with an unlocked character and find yourself, captured and being tortured, what happens if you don't free yourself?
I see you...on my scanners...in the distance... Quick update! We're out of 'pre-alpha' and into 'alpha', knocking out bugs and moving toward beta at a good clip. We've recently completed a planned component (that was also requested by several people): an arrow to track the whereabouts of fallen characters! See the red-skull-with-arrow in this image:
October Update A quick update on our progress: We have completed the first 'core' (release) module of the game. All the scripted events within the module are finished and the coding required to 'complete' the module (and save your character with all...or most of...their stuff) is done! The final maps of the module have been balanced (for the most part). Up next: We're going to be working on saving (currently the game saves before and after battles...not during). Tragically, if you leave the game during a scripted event the save isn't working which can cause quite a few problems! We are working on finishing up the transitions between game sections, adding 'card piles' and a lot of other little graphic and coded elements. Also: cloud saves. Then on to final bug fixing and play balancing. That said, we are looking to find a couple new testers. Please PM me if you're interested! Thanks!

Thanks! We've received a lot of responses from folks who'd like to help test. Thank you! We will get back to everyone who has responded thus far, but we have enough testers for right now. Again, thanks for the great response!
