    28 pages of forum and the game is nowhere near completion. Awesome. I love the music in the trailer. I hope that's in the game. I am so ready for this. More. Now.

    Just saw the other new gameplay trailer on STP.
    Nothing really new, just more of the awesomeness...

    Can't wait!!!

    One new thing in the trailer is that you can hear the sound effects. Each creature species has a variety of 'hit' sounds. Enemies all have differing sounds, calls and voices. Weapons make different sounds when used.

    Yes I've noticed, and I must say that the alien 'voice' is really cool.
    I'm not too fond about the music (I know, I'm the only one) but I'll see when I'll play it...which cannot be soon enough.

    But the whole setting is really intriguing, my most anticipated game hands down.

    I probably already asked...have you a release timeframe now?

    Music is just one piece out of many. We thought it had lots of mood to it. We're planning on releasing towards the summer. Like I've said, we want it to have a solid framework that will allow us to grow it, add more content.

    While I was hoping it was released yesterday, it's fair.

    But the wait it's though, seems already very well planned out and...it surely has a distinctive and cool look not to mention the bits of story you deployed before are really really intriguing.

    I really cannot wait to experience it.

    iPad Wallpapers

    While we aren't announcing an iPad version of Galactic Keep...we are honoring of the launch of the iPad by creating four background wallpapers proportioned perfectly for the iPad screen.

    Very nice, how long do you spend on one of these images? I am an artist as well, but you seem to pump these things out so quickly.....

    These backgrounds were made for the game...we've had most for a while now. I do work pretty quickly though ;) All of the art is hand drawn on paper and scanned. In some cases art is colored with watercolors, sometimes it's painted digitally. Every piece exists at high resolution.

    Very nice, I enjoy your artwork. This is almost the same method I have used in the past, hand draw, scan in and color in Corel 10. However, I have been recently drawing directly into Manga Studio, it has some very nice drawing tools that make using a wacom much more efficient... Cheers :D

    Things are coming along really well, progressing very quickly! Soon to be adding in 'death messages', little quips about how you killed your enemy or describing how you were killed.

    Let me know if you have any game related questions or if there's anything about the game you'd like clarified. We're open to answering pretty much anything.

    ...anything that's not related to when the game's going to release ;)

    So is this game some sort of space, dice battle game, based on cards with cool artwork? Just makin' sure. :rolleyes: Will it have/need a social network? (or wait for game center). How long will the entire game be, and can it be replayed with different settings?

    We're planning on hand-building multiplayer from scratch. The matchmaking in Game Center will be an added bonus for us. For other things (leaderboards, achievements) we had been setting up to use one of the existing social networks...but now with Game Center it's hard to say.

    The game will be pretty long. Every level/mission can be replayed (and may need to be replayed) but difficulty doesn't ramp based on your characters stats. The story in each mission can lead down different paths based on choices you make. Some choices can end the mission immediately (in one mission you can set an explosion in motion that kills you minutes into the mission).

    For the most part, there's a lot of map exploration. Each mission has about three individual maps. Lots of things to find. Big weapons. Items that up your stats permanently. Side missions.

    It wouldn't be too hard to allow a player to reset a level's difficulty though (on a second play-through chose a harder difficulty), bump up all the creature and enemy stats...now you've got me thinking...

    Seriously, I have been following since day one and anticipating this title. It needs some bumpage in the forums and perhaps some type of update from the devs regarding what is being worked on at this point.

    I hate to see this game lose steam after that great contest you had months ago.

    Looking forward to hearing a lil sumtin sumtin.

    Sorry about the lack of love on the forum! We're moving ahead, crackin' skulls and gettin' stuff done. Lots of progress, more to show pretty soon. No loss in steam on our end...just less hype ;)
