Cadets, The info disc is finally back in our hands! There was a strange code etched into the surface of the disc. I was able to decypher some of it, but it's tough so I left the rest to Jerky to figure out. I guess I must have been captured before I could find it the first time I was up there...I don't remember that entire trip. I remember reaching behind many sections of that Spire though. This time there was no sign of a Trepidoid presence. The doorway (or tele-portal?) I found when I discovered their base is gone as well. It's just a bunch of logs now. I thought that perhaps I'd see the Captain and the Wingman wandering around up there...I thought perhaps they had been released when the base blew on Sunday, but I did not see them. Hopefully they are okay. I wonder if Jerky has figure out that code yet
I honestly don't know. Was a little tough to reach. I think maybe someone found it, got killed by Treps, then the Treps returned it. Ya...ya that's it...
Well I'm having trouble extracting any information from it. Either it was damaged by the weather or..... My theory is that the disc is blank and was used as bait to capture one of us. The Trepidoids probably knew the Captain would follow them and observe them as they hid the disc inside the Spire. After chasing him away they merely had to wait for one of us to try and retrieve it. Why they did not simply grab the Cap'n that night is a big question. Perhaps they figured that if a Cadet were captured (as I was) that there was a much lower likelihood of a rescue attempt. If, however, the Captain were captured, there would most certainly be one. Or maybe they figured a fresh Cadet would be easier to brainwash than a hardened Galactic Captain. Just a theory, but it seems logical, especially since the disc appears to be blank. I'll check it out some more though.
Finally, someone that has rivaled my photoshop skills. Very nice. Very, very nice. But $9.07 to ship a pancake? Sheesh, the Treps are skill at extortion as well.
Thanks! Looks like the Treps have figured out how to swindle people on ebay with the shipping. Hmmmm I wonder if Jerky has had time to complete that code decryption... Speaking of shipping, I made a few small changes to the image.
Galactic Wingman B is in the house! I haven't been able to contact Galactic Captain or Wingman A for over 18 hours - I fear the worst. The Galactic Command Center is now at Warning Level 13.5. We need more contest entries, or the Treps will never release the game. Come on cadets, get busy!
But...but I already stole the game from the Treps...you didn't get my transmission? I guess there could be another copy somehere though....
Ok come on Cadets, more entries are being requested. I guess blowing their base sky-high wasn't enough. I don't think the Cap'n and Wingman A are safe until we get more.
Attention everyone!!! The Captain RETURNS!!!! I'd like to say that I just got back from a massive space battle with an entire Galactic fleet of Trepidoid fighters... ... but I can't say that... because it didn't happen. What did happen is far, far less impressive, in fact you might say it's a little bit embarrassing. Without naming any names (WingmanB), someone accidentally flicked the wrong button on the control panel outside my sleeping quarters and I have been in forced suspended animation for the last day! I finally get out and return to this thread to find many things have happened. Commander Schplurg has been having an interesting time, and the entries into the "BIG" plan contest have been slowly trickling in. A lot of good entries mind you, but I would have thought that everyone would have wanted to win my iPod touch!?! We need a few more entries cadets!! The Trepidoids are getting even more cranky! (If that's possible). Remember - you can enter as many times as you want! Remember - anyone can enter! And Remember - we don't have much time left!!! We are talking hours people!!! Yes, only hours left 'til the deadline!!!! And someone wins my ipod touch!!!!!!!!! It could be you!!!! Struth!! C'mon you lot! Let's see that Rippa Galactic enthusiasm that we've all come to know! RIPPA!!!!!!!! BONZA!!!! RIPPA!!!!!!!! BEAUTY!!!!!!!!!! I can't hear you!!! C'mon! Give me an "R"......
Great job, commander schplurg, that was a bonza job in the trep base. No wonder those coordinates led to the Spire. Their base was there. You really earned that Order of the Cosmos title. And someone spilt water on my entry. I'm redoing it tomorrow and submitting it.
The less contestants, the better my odds of winning, but the better chance of Trepidoids not freeing the game... Hmm... Help save the galaxy or iPod Touch...
R HI Captain, good to see you back on your feet. That's Wingman B for you! Stellar Job Schplurg, I made some pancakes for the kids this morning (blueberry) but I must have used a different batter, mine didn't look anything like that! Crazy Pharmx, love your slogan!! I wasn't sure if I should post the next one, but since we need more entries:
