Heh. Well I did my own voice during the video. I'm actually almost done splicing it together. Who knows how long it'll take to compile, it's only maybe 5 minutes long though. I'll keep you guys posted.
Sorry, can't help you there, I can hardly post a normal hyperlink! It is exciting for what it is! Seeing a man in a thick white suit and a fish tank on his head clumsily stepping out of a big tin can isn't that exciting, yet it made Armstrong famous!
vids done...see above Sorry I didn't film myself actually searching in there, but it would have been difficult. Oh well. And Cap'n, if you can read this, feel free to use this vid - or parts of it - for whatever you want. I don't know why you would but...whatever. Thanks for the adventure!
I feel gutted for you mate, but GREAT video!!!!! Cool to see SF from down below after watching the sat pictures from google maps. Last time I was in Frisco I think the Presisio was still off limits (1987!). i still can't believe you got back empty handed. I almost want to say: go back and check again!!! Nice close up of the cops on your way there, deserves some bonus points!
Even though I've lived near SF all my life, I'd never been in that part of the Presidio, or seen the Spire...of course it's only a few years old at most. After seeing the satellite images and the GG video, it was a trip to turn the corner and suddenly see the Spire...there it was! I'm glad I got that on video too, I was genuinely surprised to see it. I thought it would be further up the road. The golf course is right where I turned into that gate area, like 10 seconds before I saw the Spire. The parking lot I pulled into - everything was right where it should be. Of course. I'd love to hear from the Cap'n and find out how well or poorly the disc was hidden. There's no way it's still there unless they threw it into the middle where nobody could get to it. Even the I should have seen it. The Spire is only 8-9 feet in diameter (less than 3 meters). A few people walked by with their dogs and must have wondered what the hell I was doing sticking my head in there! When I left I looked at the kid with the guitar and nodded. He said "cheers!" and took a hit off his joint. They came up there just to play their instruments while sitting next to the structure. Cool. Edit: 10 points to whoever can name the song in the 1st scene!
Crikey, and in the middle of the night for most of us... (and for me, it seems I'm always in the dark on this thread!) LMAO! There is nothing like this thread and our Galactic Captain! Respect, Commander Schplurg!
OMG, this thread is amazing! I only have a few minutes of battery left (got to type quick). Congratulations Commander Schplurg! What an awesome excursion you went on for the team! I wish the disk would of been there! Thanks for going for all of us!
Wow that's simply awesome. I want to see the hat when you get it!!! Great job everyone. When does the game come out?!
Looking forward to play this game. Haven't read through the whole thread so I'll just ask, any indication on when it will be released? Available worldwide on release?
It was submitted to Apple, so we'll never know I think you should have at least gotten a code, schplurg, but the hat looks cool.
I see. What seems to be the typical response time from handing them the game, to seeing it in the store?
Hasn't it already been approved since the people who won promo codes were able to use them? You can't use, or get, promo codes unless the game has been approved. I'm guessing it's up to Ezone to flick the switch and make the game available in the App Store. I could be wrong though. It's well worth the wait though since it is an excellent game and well worth $0.99 (I beta tested the game).
I dunno, the submission thread appeared after people got their codes. And yeah, definitely worth the wait.
This game is galactic bunch of fun! I hope I can recover the review I started on my PC before it died.
