SOLVED! editing with solution EDIT 2: more complete details on my process (2nd EDITS HERE) I saw this thread, then bookmarked http://trepidoids.com/2GGPCST/ as it had been solved. I went to the doctor and when I came back saw that the Captain had posted again. I checked my bookmark and saw that a video had been posted. It had three suspicious elements: the count-up at the beginning wasn't in the right order, the numbers kept going through the whole thing, and it ended with a quick flash of letters as described below. I *first* tried putting the letters directly into iTunes "redeem." You never know. It didn't work, so I tried what I detail below... (2nd EDITS END, solution follows!) Solution: http://trepidoids.com/GGLUCKYG/ I looked at the flashing numbers. I wrote them out like so: 123456 7 5 6 10 . 11 7 13 / 23 23 16 19 11 24 22 23 Except I missed the 11 at the end by accident at first. Anyway, I first tried using a simple trasposition cypher: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z Didn't work. So I tried using the letters at the end, but there were only 13. Then I looked at the numbers before the . There were as many as it took to spell "trepidoids," then 3 before a "/," so it looked like a URL. Which happened to be 13 letters long (plus a .), and there were 13 characters at the end, adding up to 26. Now the numbers only went up to 25 but I figured, 26 letters from a-z, it can't be a coincidence. So I used this alphabet for the cipher, using the letters at the end: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 T R E P I D O I D S. It didn't work so before I tried anything more complicated I watched the video again and noticed the 11 I missed before. I made it http://trepidoids.com/GGLUCKYG/ and it works! I will crack their code good sirs, and defeat them! What are your orders captain? PS The Trepidoids are controlling my mind!

I'd like to note that the transmission was so degraded I had trouble with the letters at the end. I settled on this: FWLAZ((U)3?A?) XVYGK((X)N?)H with notation ((CORRECT)CHOICE?CHOICE?) and got it right, but my reception was so poor the secret code almost slipped by me!
I have the secret code, but I don't have access to iTunes. =( I believe it is U and N. So it would be...FWLAZUXVYGKNH. Correct?
