FIGURED OUT THE LETTERS 20 MINS AGO...OR LESS TREPIDOIDS.COMFORWARD/ i WORKED OUT MOST OF THE TONES BUT THERE ARE f# AND c# IN THERE, SO NOT SURE WHAT TO DO THERE. mAYBE FIGURE OUT WHAT KEY IT'S IN. Oops sorry for the caps.
There is also some mumbling in the background. Too lazy to figure out how to get the MP3 but I can understand some of it. Sounds like "Not long til we know what's gonna fix it" Will keep tinkering...
Aw, late to the party Let's see what I can do. forward/... forward slash... well, that is part of the url Ordering some jerky tonight. Better be good I think I went a little overboard with the smilies...
Yep! I tried spelling out DMAJOR and BMINOR and with GG in front too...nada. I THINK I wroked out what the individual tones are....simply listened to it on Youtube at normal speed, guitar in hand. ALMOST positive. GEAFBBAFFCDBAEEAFBECGA Tried that in the url....I'm tryin....
Crap, I just relized the whole series of tones has a harmony along with it. In other words, there are 2 sets of tones playing at the same time. Sometimes the 2 notes are the same (though an octave apart) and sometimes they are different. Yuck.
How does this tonal sequence match up with the Trepidoid alphabet? Did you try pairing the tonal sequence with the order they showed the visual alphabet?
Tryin to think of a way to do that...by the way, technically the tones are: GEAF#BBAF#F#C#DBAEEAFBEC#GA
Ok, if the trep alphabet is A=1, B=2, etc the numerical equivalent of the notes is... 7516221663421625371 HOWEVER... The fact that used a scale with sharps in it suggests to me that it isn't the correct route. Figuring out that the "song" was written in DMAJOR or BMINOR seems more important. Why would they add sharps into an alphabet code?
You mean D major right? Also, the notes you listed before had an "F" note...which is not in the D Major scale since it is sharped. But without that, this is the sequence of numbers according to the scale: 4253665337165225(F)62745
I fixed my error...yes it's DMajor. Also i added the sharps. I didn't show them at first because they won't work in a url, but I've since added them. Now I'm thinking the voice in the background is the key...listen for it "beneath" the tones...
