I wouldn't be able to splice it that well, or notice the radar for reference =P This is THE GREATEST promo contest I've ever participated in. I wonder if it took longer to make this contest than the game itself =O
Wow Kamazar, spotting the radar and managing to clip the video back together this way you did a mint job. I have the feeling the trepidois will be parading our captain through the streets of Frisco soon.... (Or dissecting his body along with a herd of cows and spraying crop circles with the remains )

I'm new to this but I thought I'd have a try. I'm about halfway there on solving this one. I reversed the video and took the parts that the captain spoke out and put them together. You can download the mp3 from here. He says: "Attention cadets, this is the Galactic Captain. I'm still alive. Look at the static. I'm making my escape now, keep them crossed."
I'm not too good with images. I've have a look at them but I can't find anything. Can anyone see any letters or numbers in the static?
