you have Trepidoids twice in there. and then there's dot com. which only leave 11 pieces to figure out.
A number of those pieces are saying "forwardslash", I believe. As for the rest, 3 parts that sound like "will" or "rule", or both, and things that sound like D, T, BUCK or BACK, and GET. The answer will be something along these lines: trepidoids.com/***TREPIDOIDS*** trepidoids.com/TREPIDOIDS****** trepidoids.com/******TREPIDOIDS ...or something.
Yep. I can figure out only enough to give me a headache. I'm done. Good luck all. Incidentally, for those who don't know what the game is like (I didn't until I got a code and played it) it is an on-rails space shooter. You are along for the ride, no control of your ship. You touch the targets to shoot them. It's pretty tough. It's also very well put together. I've only played it once, but I will try it some more so i can give it a proper review, as promised.
16 separate clips, which makes... 2.09227899 × 10^13 possible combinations... am I missing something here? Are there any numbers in the video I'm missing that maybe show the order they should be in? Edit: Maybe I can figure out the order if I match-up the clips so that the glare in the radar moves smoothly... ?
Some cadets go to the location ASAP to recover anything present. The Captain isn't a goner yet, he's strong guys. Did you guys notice that little tune during the transmission? And the Red Herring and the beginning?
Folks. I don't have access to a sound capable machine, and will be IRL most of today. If you are having issues with the sound clipping, you need to use your eyes... Zoom in to the beginning and fade-in, to the end and fade-out. The problem may be non-linear spots at the jump-cuts. Be sure to only do a tiny fraction of a second, so that you don't lose the important sounds... The main thing is that you match up the clips at the cuts at the zero crossing.. I'll be back later today... Good Luck.
Well, after a good nights' sleep, I still think the annoyance factor is too high on this latest puzzle for me to contribute. Hurts my ears. I will follow along and see how it's going though (it ain't lookin good).
I've matched up about half of the splices, but it still doesn't sound like anything I'll try to finish it, upload it to youtube, then download the mp3 and run it through some more filters. Those scrambled bits better be the damn code
I played with the sound last night and I didn't make out much. Reversed it, sped it up. Too garbled. Good luck!
Folks: I've taken out the annoying clicks from the clues part of the video. If you zoom in enough in Audacity, you will see that there some bits of high frequency in there. Once you take that out the sound is a bit easier to take. I have an mp3 zipped up and takes about 115KB, so I can't attach in TA...
I DID IT I DID I DID IT I DID IT!!! I spliced the clips, and put them together so that the glare from the radar would move in a coherent path. "The Trepidoids have Zapped the Capt! Ha! Ha! Ha!" Here're the clips in the right order. http://trepidoids.com/GGTREPIDOIDSWILLRULEFOREVER/
