The Captain said earlier that the Trepidoids were getting "really tricky now". I don't know if he means tricky as in more difficult or tricky as in it's playing tricks on us. This is mainly why I initially thought the audio was irrelevant. I also felt that way because of the way the first sign is worded. "TREPIDOIDS WILL RULE FOREVER!" just sounds weird and awkward. Plus, it appears that some of the letters are bigger than others (the W in WILL, for example). These are the kinds of things you notice when you scrutinize something waaaay too much.
... The ship's the only visible clue Ouch. Well, the only one I'm able to focus on. The rest... givin' me headache. Okay, I have two semi-guesses. Since this is San Fransisco, I was reminded of a similar video. And the speech reminded me of a verse from Queen's "We are the Champions"
I have to step away before my head explodes. Great stuff! I really love tricky hunts like this! Kinda Reminds me of Majestic, the alternate reality game by EA some years ago.
Majestic! Yessir, that game was something else. I still remember the first time the damn thing called my house! In the middle of the night! With one of those horrifying voice-altering dealy-bops! Oh, Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. Now there was an immersive game experience... ... ...not that this isn't fun, too. BTW, on a hunch, I tried playing the teaser trailer with the invasion video, attempting to start it at the first set of beeps, like you would with Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wizard Of Oz. Of course it got me nowhere. But hell, at least I'm thinking, right?

The Captain is BACK!! Yes, I'm BACK cadets!!! I was busy dogfighting a squadron of Trepidoid fighters! I blasted most of them but the rest went crying back to their mothership! Anyway, I'm back now! Struth! You mob have been busy!!! Those Trepidoids have come up with a real doozy this time!!
