There’s an online leaderboard but you have to create an account (which I did). The music plays a minor role here as the edges of the play field “thump” to the beat. Every beat is another light year added to your distance. Goal is to dodge or destroy each pre-boss asteroid section (you can pass through the side of the screen and come out the other side) then beat the boss that appears about every 95 light years. You can also unlock a boss rush mode. It’s a lot of fun. You feel the sense of speed for sure. First game I got a good impression. But I enjoyed it more as I played. Not sure of the lasting effect but I think I’ll enjoy it for a while. Fun high score chaser for sure. I do hope there is a larger variety of power up than I have seen.
