Zombie Infection is still very much alive, it's just being released after Splinter Cell, so Gameloft is focusing their marketing efforts there. Revolt is in beta right now and very much alive, too. It's unclear what the status Flick Baseball is. Not sure what happened to Mad Dog Mccree. Look, I'm sure that some projects have gotten cancelled -- it's part of the nature of the industry that some things never quite make it out to the market. It's just a bit more visible on this platform because indie developers tend to be so open with their development process on TA.
It's nice when they are open about the development but gets annoying when their release date passes and then no word on a new date and no more hearing from them. If they start hype on a game in TA and talk to us then they should keep us updated to some sort of degree such as: sorry it's cancelled we ran into issues and it's going to take longer than we thought or anything like that ( no news isn't always good news) and it's nice to hear that zombie infection is still alive, I hope your right
I agree that it's tough to have your expectations raised and then not hear anything for a while -- I feel it too, believe me. But, at the same time, I appreciate the fact that we get as much contact with developers as we do, something that's pretty unique to this platform. It's a tough balance, and sometimes developers and publishers don't get it right. Frankly, Future Warfare always struck me as a bit of vaporware, considering how little info the developer delivered originally and few updates we've gotten. That's probably why it doesn't feel like an "abandoned" game -- as far as I know it was never in development in the first place.
