Yeah, I'm in the low 100s. That one took a few tries...less than 10 I think. I normally really hate energy timers, but I just don't mind it that much with this one. I'll play it for a few minutes then go do something else.

  2. If the game were more balanced, I wouldn't mind the timers so much. But I keep telling myself to delete the game.... I wish I would listen.

One of the reasons I usually don't bother with F2P match-3 is for this reason:

I ran out of moves on a level and instead of tapping "give up" like I usually do, I accidentally spent 90 game bucks to get 5 more moves. I won in the first extra move and the other 4 counted as "extra moves left" towards my score. So I ended up 3-starring a level that I couldn't even complete at all without buying extra moves. Come on. If these games penalized you for using the crutches instead of rewarding you, I wouldn't mind any of it. Bc that would be pretty balanced -- then you can buy your way out if you're struggling, but not get more than 1 star for it. That would prove to me that a developer cares about making a balanced game and not just how to get the most money out of people. Still waiting for a F2P match-3 that works that way.

    My 2 cents.

  3. I wasted some lives around 109 -- it loaded the previous level and then did all this weird stuff before I could get back to the actual level I was on.

    Amazing

It's amazing how some levels are almost impossible and others are very easy 3 stars. 167 I'll probably never 3-star. But 200-207 I've all 3-star'd. Weird.

True story. I finally finished getting 3 stars in all the Mars Vegas/Bender levels, but one of them I finally used items on. I did get a 1 star on 203 or 204, so you must be more skilled/lucky! :D

This one has surprised me. As with all games, it has it's ups & downs.

The colour match game is pretty decent, sound bites are fun, the comic strip story is really driving me to keep on playing, stacks of fan service & the map screen has some great memorable sc news to fly through.

On the downside, character abilities could maybe have a little more imagination at times (Though I've only reached Zoidbergs levels so far), the wonderful sound bites repeat a lot on tricky levels & some of the "vs" levels genuinely seem to cheat. I.e. Identical moves between you & your opponent yield greater damage for them.

Still, I'm hooked & will probably stick it out to see the story through.

Anyone else still playing? Collectible cards turned on today for me when I hit level 300. Not sure if that's how it was supposed to work, but it definitely injected some new life into the game for me. Also, Rusty is OP, IMO. :D

You can beat him! I'll admit, I've spent a few bucks on this game ($3, to be exact), but I am at the very last available level, eagerly awaiting new levels tonight (Tuesday's is when they drop).

Thus far, I have been able to beat every level without using Nixon bucks or power ups. You can do it!

    Been playing this since release.

Yes, levels seem designed to hold back on letting you progress, but I've stuck with it (The story is the main pull for me), I'm on level 318 & not spend real money yet.

Though I have tapped the advert wheel a few times to support the devs a little.

I'd be happy to pay for something as programmers need a salary too, but I refuse to pay real money for disposables.

I really love this game but I haven't been able to play it since the update. It opens up but never gets past the Bender load screen.# I'd love to play it more as I've "invested" a good amount of time into it. Is anyone else having this problem?
